I agree - definitely underrated...great band and there is something about their melodies that are very captivitating. They have a good way of painting a landscape melodically.

@abcdog350 well when bands play on talk shows they tell then to restrain from screaming as much, which was obviously the case in this instance because it only sounds awkward when he should be screaming

Chevelle's studio recording are pure art on every level. Live, the vocals do not translate. Do they have to just put a raw mic in front of the guy? Can't they give him a little help through tech to thicken up the vocals? Something? Pete is one of those technically lacking singers but with a voice of his own (a good thing!). As far as the bass player's backing vocals, E-GAD, I don't know what to say there.

@abcdog350 I Don't think his voice is shot, maybe he didn't have too much time to warm up, but i don't think its shot. And i think @frogman8877 is totally correct about the screaming part too.

I think I saw a higher quality version of this performance but the sound check was horrible. The sound on this one is much better! (my opinion) very nice :)
