Oh my goodness!!! Oh my gosh!!!! THIS is Hermione Farthingale! I need a kleenex. This is the most beautiful, sad, bittersweet and beautiful thing I have ever seen on youtube. She is SO VERY beautiful. Her voice is that of an ANGEL. I have to go right now and listen to "Letter to Hermione". Thank you SO MUCH for this! I will listen to this again a thousand times. How sweet she sounds. What an absolute treasure!

Since the late 1970s, I always wondered who this Hermione was. . .40+ years later, finally somewhat modern reflections from this mystery woman. I hope there is more to come.

She should have kept it to herself. Was Bowie having an affair with Kemp at the same time? Bowie and Kemp were lovers at one point. Adds a different dimension to the letter if he was.

No, she didn't leave David. They were married from 1964-1972 until David Bowie was murdered by David Faith, the Bowie impostor who was disowned by his brother Adam Faith, the British entertainer. The real David was murdered on July 3, 1972. Hermione then married David Haywood Jones, Bowie's twin brother.
