This is also used for Pisanki - melted wax is added instead of ink then you draw designs on eggs, dipping in colouring before moving to the next layer
@garetkonigsfeld2
When I bought mine in the early 80s, the package direction said it was for signing oil paintings. I've used it for tons of art projects over the years but never signed an oil painting with it.
@supernewuser
this looks like the most fun but least practical way to write anything
@ammaralamri2494
The dentist is looking at this in a different way 😂
@know1374
The amount of ink it wrote "hi" in, i finish my 3 assignments with that.
@jennieshepherd5845
I've been using writers like this for 40 years. The ones I use are for decorating Easter eggs. The fill is wax and it gets heated over a candle. The melted wax covers whatever color you want to keep and then you dip and wax the next part of your design. When finished, you scrape the egg and shine/seal it with the scrapings. Or you can use crayons and leave the colored wax on the egg.

we also have pen like that in Indonesia, it's called canthing, it's a pen for painting "Kain Batik", and it use special ink called "Malam (Malam batik/Lilin batik)" which made from beeswax and it's also obtained from plant excretions, in the form of rosin or pine 🫢
@recepton.
That ink will dry after ten business day

I'm an artist - I want one!
@implct2635
"How uncomfortable you wanted your writing to be, sir?"
@melodyarashi609
Canting from Indonesia. Canting : A wooden tool with copper bowl and tip used to apply wax onto textile. Wax : A material used in batik canting process.
@enraikow6109
the tool is used in creating Batik, which is a traditional indonesian pattern on fabric. the tool would be called a canting with hot wax inside slowly being poured on a piece of fabric to create Batik. the result used to just be black and browns, but more modern materials and techniques let's us have clothes in those patterns with a whole lotta colors.
@MaskedReviews
Maybe dot the i with a small circle instead of a spherical drop to reduce ink? If the surface tension breaks as it dries, that will make a big mess.
@ameliaa.64
Lmao i always write the word “hi” as well when i do calligraphy 😂
@LoveLifeYT
"Say hello to my writer pen!" 💀
@MaguroDUMB
If I had that, I would try to draw a picture of batik clothes in Indonesia 😌😔
