So many choices! They all sound interesting (that Dragon Universe cover is gorgeous) and Ascendant has been catching my eye for a while. Good luck with the TBR (and the dice rolls)! I’m hoping to fit a dragon-y book into my November TBR so I can take part and summon my own Drovember dragon 😅 It’s been a hot minute since I joined a readathon but I can’t resist dragons, and your readathon idea is so fun! I can’t wait to find out what your dragon will be like 🐉

I’m just going to narrate my running commentary: -Girl, you are going to be as sick of dragons as I am of witches -“I came prepared…” and then I choked on my granola and died laughing -What the heck is a D 8 -YOU HAVEN’T READ FOURTH WING??? Don’t make me send you a copy, I WILL send you a copy if I have to. -Oh, no, I’ve only heard of ONE of the big dragon books, just how out of my league am I??? -NO, NO, NOPITY NOPE, that dragon is TERRIFYING -HELL YES WHY CHOOSE…I THINK I DNF’d that one though…but softly -You’ve definitely already read Priory, I’d bet anything -I JUST BOUGHT FIRE HEART!!! Yes, now I’ll know if I should read it or not -MMM…yum -I WANT AN OWL-BEAR…OWLBEAR..OWL/BEAR? My husband is so right and I’m going to die petting something I shouldn’t.. -What’s a D 4…ohhhhhh…that IS freaking pointy…DICE DON’T HAVE TO BE SQUARES?! Good luck with the scary dragons that look like they would totally eat you, hope you love the books!! 💕💖 Also, can’t wait to see how Sims make you read???

Haha reading this killed me! -Whenever a D is followed by a number is just means 'dice' so D8 is a eight sided die. 2D8 is two 8 sided dice. It's confusing RPG talk 🤣 -DON'T Send me a copy I promise to read it I just hate reading series that are unfinished 😭 -...I have not read Priory yet DON'T COME FOR ME -Owlbears are cute shaped but not nice usually but we can tame a baby right?? ...maybe it'll grow up and not eat us 👀 -And nope there are 7 types of dice used in D&D and other tabletop roleplaying games. D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20 and the weird D100. It's a lot to take in so pretend you never heard about it 😂 Thank you!! I hope so too 💙💙

@@BooksToAshes Glad I could make you laugh, you returned the favor! -My husband was NOT impressed with my new knowledge and wanted to know how I bought him dice without knowing this. I informed him I emailed the company and asked for a video-game themed set for people who played Dungeons and Dragons because I didn’t know what I was doing. I think he’s still deciding between gratitude and resignation. 😂 -Fair -…I can’t because neither have I, that thing could take someone OUT and I am INTIMIDATED -I’ve gotten the local deer to to come to me for hand-fed apples and tried to “rescue” a coywolf I thought was a lost dog and lived so…yes, yes we absolutely could. Owlbears sound misunderstood. And very soft. -AND PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME HOW A SHAPE HAS 100 SIDES????

@@LitCouture D100 has 10 sides counting by 10’s. I plan on to show the dice set in a video for the next chapter so I promise to explain then 🤣

I didn’t want to sound like an idiot so I asked my husband after I posted that in case maaaaybe I should delete it…and he all, “Yup, it’s such a weird novelty die nobody bothers with them so I can’t you show you one because I don’t have it, but they’re real and SUCH a weird shape with all those sides.” I cannot BELIEVE he was messing me with me! I don’t think I feel like making him his morning latte tomorrow…
