I cannot believe how relatable this message was for me. My husband was in the ICU for over 2 and a half months, in a coma. In the 1st week of this ordeal I felt helpless, wounded, brokenhearted. I had no hope, because my mind and heart would listen to thr doctors whom were mostly giving me very bad news. They'd even suggest I take him of off life support. During one of those very difficult moments were I felt like I was going tho have a heart attack because they told me he's getting worse, so brace yourself for what's to come. In that exact moment I knelt down and talked to God. I said Lord you know what ummm going through. You know muy heart cannot take anymore. Please, I am begging You to take my worry and heartache away. I'm pleading for your grace and for the Holy Spirit tio invade every single cell of my body and soul. And in that moment I feel that Jesus hugged me. That embrace wad unlike any other one I had every felt. I let God take over. I told Him, only You know what is in store for us. I haven't stopped feeling his constant love and embrace. My husband was in the hospital with Covid complications for over 4 months. He's home now, praise God! God bless everyone, and I posy that one day this whole entire world will feel the truly amazing embrace of a forgiving and loving Father

The more difficult the situation may be and the more distant you feel you are from God is when he's closest to you! He's always holding your hand. There isn't one person on this earth that could overcome every trial and tribulation, so don't give up! Every difficult time in your life is when God's preparing you for bigger things! I had truly forgotten about letting go. Thank you Joel for bringing that memory back. See a long time ago I had joined the military and like any young soldier I made a costly mistake. One that was going to cut my time short in the military. I was lost, wife, brand new baby boy and I was facing discharge from the military. Boy was I in a bind. Then one day after an appointment a senior NCO came to me, I didn't know this NCO, he said to me soldier do all that is within your power and once your done, hand it over to the lord and forget about it. The Lord will not steer you wrong. I did exactly what he said to do, I fell like it had been a message from the Lord. A few weeks passed and things didn't look like they were going to get any better. Then out of nowhere I get a phone call and guess what 24 years later I retired from the military. The Lord had a plan, and he executed it on his time line. Amen, again thank you Joel because I had forgotten that moment and now that I find myself in a crossroads again, I needed to remember that, do all you can, then hand it off to the Lord, Amen!

I caught the end of this service when it went live but I decided to view it from the beginning today and I heard God speaking so loudly as I watched. The battle of TTC was spot on for me and what I’ve been battling. For years now. I think God has really been trying to get me to surrender that journey in this season. It wasn’t meant to take me out, though it’s felt that way too many times to count. It’s not for me to understand but it’s where God is stretching me. Thank you Pastor Joel, you’re really the only teacher of the Word that I listen to who even touches the topic and you do it often. I began listening to you more this year and you really are a light to those of us in the battle of becoming parents. You’ve helped me realize it’s not even my battle. I feel like I have been chasing jesus for years trying to get to the point where I have unconditional trust in him and I know that's the one thing keeping me from being a proper Christian. I know hes there hes helped me so many times, got me out of trouble where there seemed no light at the end of the tunnel, blessed me with a beautiful wife and 3 adorable children. Yet my brain just can not let go of control. I spend most evenings watching pastors like joel and heart warming testimonies. I pray every day but it's all in the evening when I can spare a thought and the house is quiet. The stresses of the day and the world take over and I live in fear of job security and stress over what if rather be doing with my time and dont give God a second thought till night time again. I feel like letting go of control and trusting him is the last hurdle for me in fully being saved.and it has been this way for years. What if I can never get to this stage, am I doomed? I seek him continuously but can't quite get there.
