What if you’re sighted in at 100? Makes the TBR function inaccurate. Why only 200 and 300 yards on the chart? Thanks.

I also noticed with my rx1300i there is no ballistic group for 7.62x39. The closest I could find is group ABC. Your thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks Brent

The banter does not do the sophisticated piece of kit any justice. I’m an avid customer of leupold with multiple Leupold scopes and rings.

It's almost like Abbot and Costello. Eric is constantly trying to dumb it down for the sidekick who really has no clue what he is hearing. Still, he makes a good sidekick. Thanks for the video and the information.

I was curious. I know the rx 2800 rangefinder is primarily a rifle range finder. Could it also be used in bow hunting scenarios? Looking for the best of both worlds

Hey Tylar - Great question! The RX-2800 does not have an archery specific mode. You're best bet for both worlds would be our the RX-1600i TBR/W. It does have bow mode and will show a calculated horizontal range out to 175yds. After 175yds, it will show a line of sight distance. Hope that helps!

I’m currently in the market for a new rangefinder I’m an archer don’t do a lot of hunting but do quite a bit of competition shooting looking for a good rangefinder with angle compensation

I need a simple answer. I have a custom turret made for my gun,bullet ,temp ,elevation ect. What I always believed to be true is use my rx-850 tbr range finder with tbr and only use the yardage I see then turn my custom turret to that yardage?

This is correct. The only caveat is to just make sure that you have your TBR programmed for your specific ballistic group.

Even I like Leupold I always buy Vortex, it is a big investment for just two year warranty

After only 4 YEARS of NORMALE used my Leupold Range finder stop working. Only warranty 2 years . I did try new good quality battery . Very disappointed of Leupold.

I liked your presentation for the most part,BUT,the guy with the hat was more distracting than informative. Constant ok's & yep's took away from the tech talk! I had to watch a couple of times to really hear & absorb what was being said. One other thing ,please move the Leupold sign up a foot,you have plenty of grey space above both men where it can be seen unobstructed . You guys make excellent products, make your company name stand out! I own close to a dozen Leupold rifle scopes & have never had an issue with any of them. I can not say that for some other brands I've owned. Thanks!

You just lost me to vortex... the amazing 2 year electronics warranty isn't what leupold stood for wen I was loyal but with that "2 year electronics warranty" I quit... i was really on the fence leaning toward the 2800 w but the warranty just lost me to your competition I'm getting a lesser rangefinder the vortex 4000 so sad my once beloved leupold just lost a life long loyal owner over a warranty... so very sad 😢 🥃cheers🍻

@@fauxurfancy life time no question asked on "everything they sell"!!! And you don't need to be the original owner, have a recipe, or any other loop holes you simply give them a call and they send you a paper to fill out and you send it back to them they either fix it if they can or just send you a brand new one. It's the best warranty on the market as they say and from what o hear you really can't beat it no one has anything bad to say they simply do what they claim... that easy?!?!

@@jackdaniels7913 I’m convinced. I was going to buy the Leoupold but now I’m buying the Vortex 4000. I was also looking at the sig sauer 2400 abs. It’s $1066. It only has a 5 year warranty. I just read a kestrel has a 5 year warranty too. To bad Vortex doesn’t make a weather meter.

@@fauxurfancy for sure that life time warranty really goes a long way I loved leupold and was looking at the same one plus the sig is awesome as well but I'm tough on my gear and wen it dose take a 💩 I'd like to get the most out of it not need to spend all that money over again and again and again lol happy you found thos post and came to the same conclusion I did maybe it will force the other big brands to fallow sute and give there's the proper life time warranty there respective brands are built on "leupold!" Hint hint... good luck out there and let's both hope thos coming year vortex will step in to the kestrel side of long range I'd be happy as a clam to have an all in one solution that's covered for life with no questions asked.

The host needs to shut his mouth, stop interrupting the more knowledgeable man, let him finish his ideas, and let us all learn something from his technical experience. There's a place for shooting the breeze like this, but we're here to learn some things that are beyond many of us, especially the host, so let the instructor do his job. God gave you one mouth and two ears. Take the hint.

Like a lot of Leupold stuff they don’t make there rangefinder binoculars anymore why because if you like a product Leupold will be damn sure you can never buy one?🤯🔫🧨
