I definitely agree that Ermes probably technically deserves a title match over Vitale, but Levan has only faced 2 armwrestlers over the last 3 years or so. Devon twice, and then Ermes twice if they pull again in Dec. I honestly just want to see something different, and it took absolutely everything out of Ermes to defeat Vitale last time, so it's not even obvious that Ermes would beat Vitale again in their current shapes. I personally would rather see Levan vs Vitale for the sake of variety.

Levan's last opponent that wasn't Devon or Ermes was Chaffee in september 2021. That means in December it will be well over 3 years where the champ has only pulled 2 different guys, Devon and Ermes. If he pulls Ermes again then it'll be another 6+ months before his next match. We'll be at almost 4 years where the champ has only faced 2 opponents. That's a joke for the sport and his legacy. And by then probably Devon will feel the itch again and want another rematch lol, he already hinted in his latest video he's starting to feel it and he'll never be denied that match because $$.
