"Start Your Day’s” Sharon Reed and guest host Shannon LaNier discuss LeVar Burton's guest host stint on "Jeopardy!" this week. The "Reading Rainbow" host had launched a campaign to be the show's permanent host, replacing the late, great Alex Trebek.
"LeVar Burton is a star, he doesn't seem to have an ego, he's smart; he's known for being smart, he's the perfect fit," Reed says. "I think it's time to pivot and move in a different direction."
He is hosting the show from Monday, July 26 to Friday, July 30.
