Made me remember that viral soldier who kept saying "YOU LIED TO US, NOW MY FRIENDS ARE DEAD" after he came back to the war Barrack started somewhere ( idk what it is, not an American but heard it was all fake)

@@Cappuccino_Rabbit It's easier to do it in WW1 because it was a war that spun out of control after an assassination. It's harded in WW2 because the Germans were clear aggressors and were under a regime that's more fanatical than the previous one.

its hilarious to me because the frenchs speak french but the germans dont speak their language

its probably just so you dont need to work on translating and can just automatically tell you "this is what you said in english". i wish they actually put the work into making this an immersive game

@@Jakey726 This is actually an English dub for the game. The original audio was actually recorded in German with authentic accents, but when it came to translating the dialogue into English, they probably just used British accents out of simplistically and kept all the French dialogue the same as there was no necessity to change it. But yeah, I agree it would be nicer if the German characters had their original accents.

The metal king monster could be a symbolism for the machines of war, the tanks, the cannons, the bombshells, how much war has been industrialized in the modern world maybe. WW1 was the first industrial like war, perhaps it is the metaphor expressing it.

Its "The Father" try to dealt with his own guilt. For the demise of his whole company to the disfigurment and permanant injury his son "Johannes" suffer due to the encouragement to join "The Great War" (Possibly by the father who's an officier). All the bosses str representation of his own suffering inflicted on the experience from the war. The ending, I think is that he finally make peace with everything and accept the constant state of his still "alive" family. His own father, His wife and his own son.

He has PTSD and survivors guilt because he was in charged of the whole squad that got kill except for his brother Johannes. You were also a prisoner of war and was captured by the French. The only reason u went to the war was to live up to your prideful nationalist father and be a man. That's why all the soldiers were making fun of him for being small(Paul was only 19)

That's the point. Because they aren't truly monsters and they can't truly to physical damage, because those are monsters tormenting Paul's mind.

its a phycological horror game set in the era of WW1. You play as a soldier who's family has been torn apart by the war, their pride, and insanity. This video showcases the good ending out of three total endings

Well unless some of viewer say maybe it is a metaphore of emotion like anger,sadness,madness etc.

The experiments aren’t real, and they aren’t portrayed as a way to vilify some Germans. Paul refers to the doctor as some German fictional doctor who reanimates dead people. So when Paul is in the memory of the hospital, the entire thing is based on Paul’s mockery of the trench’s German Doctor. In other words, Paul created the field hospital section in his mind because he mocked his trench’s German doctor.

that was during ww2 as far as i know, this was supposed to be a metaphor for suffering and the only allied country to have done the inhumane experiments is the USA, after the war.
