U can use a pony tail hair piece and that won’t mess up their hair. My daughter used to do pageants when she was younger and that’s why I used hair pieces on her so it wouldn’t mess up her natural hair.

When they win a bid, what does that pay for? Entry fees, travel, lodging, food? Obviously parents have to pay for their own travel and expenses but I was curious if you have to pay for the girls expenses too. I cheered growing up but it was just high school and we traveled out of state maybe once or twice a year.

As a mother, how do you teach your kids to value modesty and other Christian values while doing cheer? I love the sport but want to make sure it aligns with our family values before signing my girls up

I totally understand your concern. You and your child need to do what works best for your values and standards. In our family we feel like the attire for the sport (cheer) is okay. It’s not as much as what they wear but how they wear it. I hope that makes sense. You wear a swimsuit to swim, wrestling uniform to wrestle, leotard for gymnastics etc. They love tumbling and competing and cheer requires a cheer uniform. Hope this helps. Thanks for your comment ❤️

Hi, so glad you love the cheer vlogs. ❤️ also, That’s so fun you’re a dancer. Perri’s uniform was different only because she didn’t have time change into her other one and since they weren’t competing against anyone the coaches were ok with her wearing it. Thanks for watching and commenting 🫶

My guess would be cause it’s kinda more revealing for any of the girls really in my opinion.I actually admire her for choosing to keep it more decent as much as is possible with a cheer uniform. I don’t truly know the real reason that’s just kinda where my thoughts were going. I applaud her choice if she had any choice in the matter nevertheless. Although cheer is considered a more active and somewhat showy in attire kinda sport if one can choose to keep it relatively decent than that’s even better just my thoughts here.

It’s because there probably wasn’t time to change between the two routines. She usually doesn’t wear the mesh for carnage. 😀 Hope this helped
