An unbelievably talented band. Like everybody else I can't comprehend how Mark King manages to play his super difficult bass lines and sing at the same time lead vocals. Just stunning.

@@danlc95 he's ruining this entire performance. The fact that everyone is noticing him is the evidence. He is just showing off. In his mind this show is all about him. He is technically talented, but musically he's a train wreck.

@gr8dane626 - Yep. I've been there. Blazing up the kit, but destroying the song. He's phenomenal as a player. Tons of chops and solid meter, but I wouldn't want him playing like that if I had to pay him to play that song. This is where guys like Phil Gould and Jeff Porcaro shine. They got the chops, but only use them when / if necessary.

Saw Level 42 open for Madonna in 1987 in Toronto, Canada at CNE stadium. AWESOME!!!

No way! I was there too! Although very sad story ....I took transit from North of TO and it was a nightmare.....arrived just as L42 finished....met up with my new wife who was there early.....loved Madonna, great show.....after concert we are walking back to parking lot when a limo drives by and a tshirt gets thrown out the back window ...my wife lunges for it but I hold her back in fear....WTF . ..it was Madonna and my wife would have had the Tshirt if I hadn't interfered... .have never forgotten that .and continue to berate myself...37 years later......my wife and I are now separated but great friends......damn!
