Was about to get them, but everyone demanded they be bid because GDKP, laughing in discord. Item goes up, min bid was 25g. I put 25g. Rogue puts 150g. Laughs in discord, "ha ha ha! Don't you want to complete the quest? you HAVE to buy it! You HAVE to bid!" I heard him say while I was at the fridge getting a beer. The panic as the timer ticked down while I wasn't even at my desk, "Dude? Aren't you gonna bid? Dude? Bro? you gotta bid for your quest bro! BRO!?" Organizer stopped run until he paid, but gave me the quest item because no one else could literally have them. Rogue begged me to give him some gold back because we were "guildies and friends" Omegalul.

This is funny to watch. Back in the day when I was first leveling through TBC with my cousin, my uncle was already level 70 on his hunter. He carried us through dungeons over and over every evening, and for hours on end during weekends. We had the best gear we could get from dungeons as we were leveling on my rogue and his warrior. I think my uncle was able to carry us until around 67 or so, then it got more difficult and we’d have to get a healer, another dps, and have my cousin go prot on his warrior to tank, but we still ran countless dungeons to get the best gear we could. Those were fun times. On the weekends we would pack up our computers and go over to my uncles house and play all Friday Night, all Saturday, and most of Sunday until Sunday evening when we’d load back up and go home. I’d get high with my uncle and just run dungeons all day, or heroics and raids once we hit 70. We had an absolute blast.

Once upon a time I was doing carry +15's in BFA. A DH bought 5 UR runs from us trying to get the weapon. On the fourth run he made the mistake of telling us that if he didn't get the weapon, he would buy 5 MORE runs. That weapon dropped for me. I didn't loot it. I did get 5 more runs worth of gold though. I didn't even need that weapon, but you can't just tell the people carrying you "If you screw me over, I'll pay you double"

I paid a guild to help me finish Frostmourne back in WoTLK. Just to get the sindragosa quest done... My guild at the time never got past her. My guild soon disbanded and never did IC25. So I collected the shards doing public ground.

i used to run GDKPs in cataclysm, but for pvp. and i never scammed people for gold or brought fake people to bid them. it was just a high price in gold that we all agreed on before creating the arena team, and then i carried them for 3v3 arena until they could buy their 410 pvp weapons. i made somewhere around 2G selling GDKPs for 3v3 in cataclysm and all of it was honest money (that i sold for a high price admittedly, but it was still mutual). good ol'days !

Oh cata was one of the best times I had in wow messing with people. Around that time the mind set of people changed and everyone thought they was HC just to find out how hard those raids where before they got nerfed. I'd spend hours making guilds wipe on fights just to hear them all yelling in vent at each other. Cata raids killed so many guilds and servers it was crazy to watch. But I don't know why the mind set of everyone changed in cata. DW back fight was some of the best rage I've seen from people in gaming in a very long time. Hell that whole fight before the nerf was hell on earth. The fight was pretty easy but getting people to do all the easy stuff was the hard part.

4:44 as a new player to retail wow, I feel personally attacked on a deep deep level far beyond the dark depths where any ocean leviathan could ever traverse. I never boosted tho. That's for nubs.

used to sell the warlock quest in dm for 500g each. i would get 4 of them in there for 2000 and just bug the quest for the win. worked over and over. and in classic thinking it would be fixed and nope. 2000x 5-10 runs a day

Funny thing is thats all WoW is now to the point where you can get to 70 solo questing without raiding or pvp farming gear and people assume your boosted just because of how much hp you have, while you got freshly boosted chars who cant even do heroics but have lightbringers set pieces because they go straight into a gdkp, its like its expected now to be playable, gotta have gear to get into kara, its the starting point for runs farm a few badges maybe get some decent gear from pvp or heroics and on average you should be good soon as you finish your attunement

What do they expect really, giving people access to endgame without ever playing the bulk of it. Character boost should be kept in but should only be available after you have a max level character on that expansion. This way you can skip a grind but not skip....learning how to play the damn game
