I have finally gotten to compete at the Houston National Invitational. I have heard of HNI for many years. It is a HUGE meet with many great teams. And there is an Open Team Cup and an Elite Competition with CASH prizes!!!
This is the second gymnastics meet of the season and it definitely had it's ups and downs. I am proud of how I handled the situations and I look forward to seeing these guys again this season.

11.5 is really good on high bar...Amanda is such a tough judge....She judges all of the meets around the area....When Nate gets a different judge and scores close to or above a 12, I mentally throw it out because it's not reliable....Amanda is tough but fair and she takes ALL of the deductions....

Unfortunately, I'm old, so, I don't have the physical stamina for this kind of thing, although, I barely had it for the over a decade that I was in Tae Kwon Do either. Lol!

It would be fun for an adult, but not sure about competitions. Similar in the discipline required to martial arts

@@EthanCoxGymnastics Okay. Have you ever done martial arts? I got to 2nd degree black belt in Tae Kwon Do. I loved it, but I had to quit because of the seemingly never ending covid-19 pandemic.
