Hello guys and welcome to my video on how to level as fast as possible, while we wait for Icecrown Citadel to launch.
In this video I go over 2 methods of leveling fast, the thorns way and the Dragonblight Crypts way.
These methods are sadly only available if you have certain things available to you, or friends willing to help out. Everything is explained in the video, but here's a quick TLDR:
- To do thorns boosting, you need a max level druid with as much spell power as possible and the hybrid specc linked below.
- To do Dragonblight Crypts boosting, you need to have either 2 accounts with 1 max level character on the account you aren't leveling on, or have a friend boost you.

So would the 2nd method essentially work anywhere? If you have the lvl 1s in your group? Would it be better to move to a higher level hyper spawn? Or no I'm very curious

Quick question. For the second method, do the level 1s have to be online? Or is enough that they are in the group and nearby?

I've been paying warlocks to do the crypts boost you showed in the video but none of them can reach even half of your exp/hour and I have a dead level 1 in my group. Do you have any tips or know why it would be so slow? They seem to be killing them as fast as they can.

the spawn rate when im doing method 2 seems incredibly low compared to shown in the video, and the respawn won't start at all until I clear the whole room each time, reckon they have fixed it already?

Both rooms are connected, just perma run around from room to room (almost equally fast), you can only stay permanently in 1 room if another guy is boosting/killing the other room

also, the cenarion tier 1 3-set is only giving me ~10 less dmg but the 5 extra mins is crucial for doing dungeons and its nice to not have to log druid as often for buffs. you can buy 2 of the 3 pieces off AH.

Can any1 recommend a good video (if there is one) explaining the group exp, particularly the Dead alts bit. are you meant to get all the XP on 1 toon? i dont see the point in having 4 alts in a group, if you are only getting 1/4 of the xp? even if it is buffed by 30% odd, or is this just to do with the lowering of the average group lv? I tried to test on lv1s in Northshire, but it just seemed pointless

So from what I understand because dead players in a group can't gain any XP they also don't suck up any of the XP your alt would've gotten instead. On-top of this, for every player in a group, the total pool of potential XP also increases but since the only alive person is your alt, they get that total pool of XP for themselves. Furthermore, and this is something I also only just learned from this vid, the total amount of XP inside the group XP pool also goes up relative to the combined average level of everyone in the group. The lvl 1s drag down the average level and thanks to this the group XP pool goes up. But because they're dead and can't gain the XP, the alt being leveled gets that XP instead. Either way it isn't necessary to understand why it works. Fact of the matter is that every powerleveler is doing it because it works :D

barely getting any respawns in the ashenvale hyperspawn spot, idk if its been fixed or what, first 2 worked perfectly.

There's 3-4 mobs right outside the cave entrance to the ashenvale spot, just do a quick driveby and slay those, since they're connected to the hyperspawn! :D

Nice spec for this trick, saw lederen lvling a priest quickly and tried on my warlock who has now massacred rfc sfk and sm resting at 42 at this point! Lil note for 1 acc guys: allowing the game to open several instances (some battlenet setting) and just signing in to that other window will dc the char and instantly let you sign in giving more time for those darn procs

have they changed thorns so i need to target the mob with a spell before thorns does damage? else i wont get xp? how did u get full xp all the time on ur druid ?

you have to do some small percentage of dmg to the mob, its sorta similar to having guards kill your mobs for you.

no you will not get banned, its not an exploit. Its a part of the game, you are manually killing all mobs, and chars can travel anywhere no matter the level :P

was doing this for a while, now with RDF out +looms and jj still active, RDF spam is hella fast, quested 1-15, 15-80 rdf spam 80 in less than a week.

idk how u do 10-12mins per level, i did it with full group(3 lvl1 and leveling character) and this is like 22-23 mins per level, not 10-12. By warrior, not warlock.

It's taking me longer that 23 mins, does it matter where the lvl 1 ghosts are afk? I'm leaving them next to the leveling character.

super nice video i have been having a lot of fun getting all buffed up with feast, fort , and kings, and absolutely destroying dungeons for people as a "tank" in RDF... just sprint through the dungeon like a complete mongoloid and win. anyone know of a list of all hyper spawn locations??

My druid is feral, tried this and on my level 17 paladin thorns only did 9 dmg. do i have to use spellpower and that spec for it to do any over that ?

Each point of spellpower scales with Thorns, so the spec used here is really optimal for biggest stack of SP = High dmg Thorns

i can make 1 million exp with a normal dungeon group in drak tharon or ahnkahet or 1.1million exp an hour on gundrak (but gun drak is with lockout) so....this method 2 is so much setup for pretty much nothing. and yes i have screenshots of that with Nova instance tracker. its 2023 peps dont have wifes. and paying 5 accounts for this....idk. missed point of mmos and missed the point of doing HOS boosting with 1 acc payed.

thanks man. but i guess the logic is that nearly everybody except some normal humans out there have anyway 8-11 accounts because of lvl 70 boost per account. so paying 1 acc per class seems the new meta of skill assets in games anyway. @@djxd3293

i asked a random, how long his /played was on a lv20, it took him 6 hours with looms.... i did a lv20 in 2 hours this morning using westfall. with no looms. i wouldnt class it as clickbait at all, it might be slower later on, but its insanely quick at low lv

All this is perfectly fine. the trinkets are easy as fuck to get. If you have a druid and a 2nd account ALL this information is completely VIABLE. I legitimately play the game all day long and I have 3 active accounts. Sounds like you dont play the game.
