ブリッカ2cup愛用しています粉の量は摺り切りだと抽出後にベチャッとしているブリッカだとモカエキスプレスよりも圧が掛かるから、上に押し上げられて下部が緩くなるんですかね？

Very good video, thank you! I have a 2 cup New Brikka. I think the 2 cup size is perfect for one person. I sent a 2 cup Brikka to my daughter and son-in-law, and they realize it's not enough coffee for both of them because they both want a doppio, so they're going to buy a 4 cup Brikka. You're correct that the 2 cup Brikka takes 120ml of water, but the 4 cup takes 170ml. Bialetti recommends to remove the pot from the stove when you see steam and the flow is established, so it can finish brewing off the stove. That prevents the coffee from burning and tasting bitter. I remove my pot when I see steam and before the stream accelerates and gets loud. It's perfect!

@@coffeesamurai Yes, and I had to practice until my timing was better. I cook it on a preheated medium electric stove and I get a lot of crema even with 100% Atabica; but if I turn the heat down a tiny bit, I only get half as much crema. So it took me some practice to find the right heat setting.

@@photina78 Great! Mokapot, especially models that produce crema, really depend on the heat setting, don't they? Both the Brikka and the "cremiu," which I've been using a lot recently, required quite a bit of practice to get the heat just right!
