Built out an example following this method using a Service Principal for the Authentication method to avoid having the connection being tied to a specific user account and it worked great!

We would like to implement RLS that would filter data based on the user id. We can do that when we share Reports to the final user. What we need now is RLS based on user id when we share data to power users.

I have access to a Azure Synapse analytics account and the DataBase I need to query the data is serverless, I need to connect to it from NodeJS application, is it achievable? Also when I try to connect to the serverless database from Azure Data Studio the database is not there.

What about RLS through a table? Does it fall back to direct query, have I understood correctly ?
