He wanted Haines to shoot and counter as a strategy. He had to win the takedown game, which is what it came down to. Not much else to say. He wasn't going to win the ground game. The only other option was to get intense on the feet and shoot on Haines. That's probably something he should have adapted and done, but that's tough to pull off as well. He ultimately got a shot on him by Haines, and it went Haines just executed that better than Teemer defended...which is not surprising as Haines didn't want to hang on to a leg underneath. But that was his moment if any, and he didn't make that happen. It comes down to that. Strategically speaking, I'm not exactly sure how to adjust and get the win.

That's because teemer backs up watch all his matches he backs up intil the other wrestler shoots then he recounters thats how he wins but Levi wasn't having it thats why it was boring because if you watched Levi all year that brother puts ups big scores but it's hard when teemer backing up not ingauging

Teemer hardly had any offense all tournament. Such a boring wrestler to watch. Not one attempt of a td in his finals match. Watched the whole tournament and these top ranked guys with no offense all lost. Ruth does nothing in all his matches. Lovett just wants to ride ppl to 1-0 victories. Lovett only shows offense on weaker opponents but anybody close to his caliber he shuts it down. In Lovetts last 3 matches he took 1 shot. Fix well he just stalls in every match he’s in. Peyton Robb only gets his offense going against weak opponents. Salazar from MN has no offense and look where it got him. All these guys listed have been trying to squeak out 1-0 and 2-0 victories against strong opponents and look were it got them in this tournament. You just can’t do it in a tournament like this.
