You guys the patch Levi gave to the soldier WASN'T Ivan's. You see Levi taking the patch from the body with the bite mark on the hand (presumably Pretra's) early in the episode, there's no way he had Ivan's body until those guys went back for the body, Ivan's body was left behind at 16:39. Levi lied to his comrade so they would have a reason to keep on living. Levi is not only super strong, but he is compassionate as well. Like how he was willing to hold the hand (covered in blood) of one of the dying soldiers in his first appearance despite being a clean freak. Nothing is accidentally shown in AoT, Keep an eye close to every line and scene.

4:47 remember how it took 3 members of the Levi squad to blind her and cut her arm's tendons? yeah, Levi just did all that and also immobilized her legs in 30 seconds

He was *focusing* , he was *waiting* , he was *ready* , u can tell by the *movement of his swords in a specific moment* & the look on his face . *What really makes Levi wt he is* , isn't coz he is OP , or lighting fast , it's coz he can control his emotions , he is decisive , he pay attention to every small detail , he's practical , he's adaptable , and he got the whole package to deliver .

The body with the bite mark was Petra. If you remember in the previous episodes when she told eren to "have faith" in them, they showed her hand that had the bite mark from the previous night. It is hinted that Levi was somewhat more attached to her since they show him cutting out her pocket that had the scouts symbol. He also looks back darkly when they discard her body and the Titan tramples over her. He wanted to keep some memory of her through that patch but ends up giving it away to that other guy, seeing how much more troubled he is, and lies that it was Ivans just so he can get some closure.

My favourite is season 2 due to its shift in pacing and focus on character.

Each one will have their favourites. For me it's season 2 and season 3 second part and this preference is just a slight upper hand because of few scenes in these seasons. You can't even choose a whole season above other in totality

The female Titan is a human who saw eren transform. As said by Armin, she was likely there in trost when eren first showed up as a titan. Regardless of who it is, her goal was obviously to kidnap eren and in order to do that she massacred so many people. After all of that, still losing the thing she had taken the trouble to get is simply frustrating and painful. This is more unlikely, still probably one of the reasons though: Levi single-handedly cornered her. After she trampled so many scouts, to think that just one soldier would put her in her place understandably instills fear. There is one more, far significant reason for her to cry which is revealed very soon later.

I love this episode so damn much…I also love that you noticed his red eyes. To me it shows all the fiery rage that he has for his lost comrades, contained in his stoic demeanor. He may never outwardly show his anger, but in that shot you can see in his eyes…where all of his savageness comes from.

Season 3 is one of the best anime (rather entertainment in general) experiences you will ever have. Season 4 is going to reap you apart emotionally...like, SEVERAL TIMES. And then, and only then, and you will understand what Attack on Titan truly means.

For a first time viewer, the seasons get better as they go on. But for a seasoned veteran of the show, they're all pretty much equal, though certain parts of each season really do shine on their own in terms of execution
