Enjoying your videos! Why don't you try Knee Lake, Manitoba? I think it's the best pike fishing in the world! Been going there since the early '90s and it's never disappointed. I'm a Manitoba pike specialist with many Master Angler trophies under my belt. My PB is 46 inches on this lake. One lodge only - NORTH STAR EXECUTIVE OUTPOST. This is a very comfortable fishing trip. Fly-in only to their private strip: 600 miles north of Winnipeg. Knee Lake has 50 miles of drinking water and over 150 islands. No roads- God's unspoiled wilderness! Great log cabins. Wonderful main lodge. Terrific management. Skilled and friendly guides. Nice boats. Good food. Shore lunches are out of this world. Outstanding walleye fishing and the best Northern Pike fishing on the planet. Catch and release. Conventional and fly fishing. (I do both.) My daughter got to go and like you, I really want to catch those giant pike on a fly. The week after she left, a customer landed a 55 inch pike on a fly...insane! Hope you get to Cree River Lodge sometime soon.

Great video on catching Pike. I have not fished for them ever, but I remember when my dad did in Nebraska when I was a kid. How can you say you are new to fly fishing when your dad is great at fly fishing? Wise pilot to turn back. Way too many push it and then pay for it along with their passengers way too often.
