I thank you God for making you a vessel. Your explanation is very easy to understand even for myself. I was summoned by the Holly Spirit to study the whole Bible and having the Holly Spirit as well as you to help me understand making its easier as you do. Thank you

That was fantastic, thank you. I found Leviticus to be a bit of a “dark read” until now, you’ve given it some good context that now makes sense & has lightened the load.

Before I got saved I tried to number 1, convince myself there is no hell. And Number 2, being Catholic, there’s purgatory anyway so I’m good there. Problem was I wasn’t sure about it all and it scared me. I’d have dreams where I’d be standing in a room after I died knowing when “someone” came in they were going to tell me where I was going and it wasn’t to heaven. When I read The Late Great Planet Earth and read the Gospel message that told me I could KNOW I was going to heaven because of what Jesus did, it was like “hallelujah!” Thank you for another wonderful lesson!

I have a catholic friend that says to me. I have ask God for forgiveness for my sins, now I have to wait until judgement day. To see if he will forgive me. Until then, I have to live a good life. I keep telling him, no don't do that. You are placing your faith on your good works, that cannot save you. You have to get saved first and place your faith on the Lord Jesus Christ and on His finish works, that he completed on the cross. I have told him you are saved by grace through faith alone. I have told him & sent him videos about the gospel but, he still comes at me with this good works stuff. I'm going to keep praying for him.

Currently, I am at the start of learning all about the 7 feasts (ch. 23) and my mission is to know the surrounding context. So glad I found this message. It is perfect for giving me the space to learn through and around chapter 23. Thank you, Pastor (Paul?) for your knowledge and for digging into the Scriptures, and passing this on. It helps to read this verse by verse alongside you and at the same time learn extra historical background, cultures, and traditions of the Jews (and Israelites).

I like the idea of the sack cloth or ashes for displaying grief people would probably tend to them in their society then we do our own that feel they need to hide it, no matter the reason. I love how you break things down.

New way of understanding tooth for tooth and eye for eye as a limit. We often associate it with getting even but the way you explained makes more sense

Thank you for preaching on the difficult subjects. I want a greater understanding of reconciling God in the Old Testament with God in the New Testament. I want to understand more fully and I want to be able to answer the questions of others if ever asked. We need to be able to explain the difficult things in the Bible.

I was at Wednesday night Bible study at the church I attend ,we are studying the book of Acts and I'm not sure how it was brought up but one of the gentlemen said he has been studying Leviticus and I spoke up and said that I am also studying Leviticus and then another gentleman said he was too. This is only a group of about 15. What are the odds that 3 of us were all studying this book??

And the organ cutting away at oneself ….man that describes how godless our society is no matter the faith. How they lost souls cut them selves, cutting of the hair differently saying it’s just how style is progressing. Man that’s deep.

I left this comment before a long time ago, and I think it was removed because I worded it poorly, which I can't blame you guys for that. I'd like to leave it again, because everytime I share it, people are encouraged 😇 Hopefully worded better this time😁 I was minding my own business one day, and suddenly a thought popped in my head. How do they farm pearls? So I looked it up. The farmer places grit on the body of the oyster, which is basically a foot. If it can't flush the grit out of the shell, it has to cover it up with layers of pearl. When I read that, I instantly was like, "Why are the gates of Heaven the pearly gates then?! It's so dirty!" Then God answered in my heart, immediately! The grit is sin, and the pearl is the blood of Jesus. Jesus is the door! The gates of Heaven are the gates of forgiveness! No one who has to enter Heaven thru the gate is perfect, but are perfectly forgiven💝😇🙏

This year’s Feast Of Tabernacles (or Sukkot) will be from the evening of October 2 to the evening of October 9th. It’s wonderful to do it at the same time as Israel is commemorating it. Our family does it every year, except we can’t always go camping. So on the years that we don’t go camping, we set up a tent in our backyard and play board games, play music, etc. It’s super fun! We are Christian Believers and we don’t observe it out of a means to be saved (because we are already saved through faith in Jesus Christ), rather just to celebrate and remember what He brought us out of. It’s a beautiful picture of our Lord.

Where in the bible can you find the reasons behind the the people changing Godsnames to the lord...I heard many people talk about that idea but can't find the scripture to get the idea clearly
@PastorPaulLeBoutillier9 ай бұрын
No one changed anything. Lord is not a name, it is a title. Be careful listening to people's claims. Most of them know very little about what they're saying.

1:30 "The pearly gates" came from Revelation, you should know that. Revelation 21:21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls; each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was pure gold, like transparent glass.

@CalvaryChapelOntario Жыл бұрын
The Law IS scary! The Apostle Paul says "the letter of the Law kills" in 2 Corinthians 3:6. It puts us to death because we can't keep it perfectly. This is why we thank Jesus for coming and keeping the Law in our place.
