When a future pilot takes their Discovery Flight they should have 2 things: fun and control. That's the aim when I take people on their first flight. They should be given control of the aircraft and shown how we fly an aircraft to see if this is really what they want to do. Otherwise, we are doing them a disservice. It's not a money making exercise; it's the first lesson.
