Hey my friend I wanted to let you know that because of your review my wife and I decided to have lunch at Lewis while visiting Charleston. We had Brisket, the beef rib, collards, cole slaw, and Mac and cheese. It was out of this world. My wife and I were blown away. Everything was great and we both agreed the collards were the best we’ve ever had. We also had dinner at Halls for our anniversary dinner and we were blown away. Thank you for providing great reviews about everything your wonderful city has to offer! 💪💯💜

We travel extensively and love every type of BBQ. All of it. My favorite is eastern NC’s vinegar based BBQ. My wife’s, western NC’s tomato based. We love Texas, Kansas City, and Memphis BBQ’s as well. But NC’s is #1 for us. Thanks for posting.

We ate there on 4/7/24 , had brisket, mac an cheese, chicken fried steak, pickles, onions and corn pudding. Everything was delicious. Definitely want to go on a Saturday for the beef ribs.

Yes we think it's the best bbq in town. They are getting ready to open a mexican restaurant this month! Keep your eyes out for it. It is called Rancho Lewis!

Just tried this place because of your excellent review and wasn’t disappointed one bit. The brisket, ribs and pulled pork were fantastic. The Mac n cheese was so yummy.
