Knowing he wrote this song for his aunt who lost the battle to suicide, makes this song much more meaningful. I lost my significant other due to suicide 8 years ago...if I ever write a book and it becomes a movie...this would have to be the theme song.

The mastery of this video is how it shows the girl from everyone else's perspective. We don't know why "her mind made her feel so worthless." What we see is how everyone loved her, how she was such a source of joy to them all. It shows the tragedy of suicide in a new way, like, if only the person trapped in those feelings could see how everyone else perceived them.
