I'm a Mercedes fan, but I wish the team to lose this year for making the mistake of extending James Allison. Mike Elliott did leave, but it's Allison who initially oversaw the design on the w13 and caused the mess that followed. And curiously he never gets the blame for it. It's always someone else's fault. If Allison already understood the sudden change in regulations for the w12 in 2021, Hamilton and Mercedes wouldnt have started the year with a performance deficit over Redbull. And the fight for the 8th championship wouldn't have been as close and deadly as it was. But again here its never Allison's responsibility 😊. The strategy needs to change, new competent heads with real expertise (and there are plenty better than Newey) need to be brought in. You only win by evolving with the new changes. Not by remaining the same with the same old approach
