I loved this duet. Lee and Lewis sounded so great together, a proper performance instead of trying to outdo each other the whole time - wonderful! While I do want Lee to ultimately win, I definitely think Lewis did very very well on this duet and they were both excellent.

Anazing!! This is a much harder song than the other duet and I thought they both did a great job! This is the first time I have been really impressed with Lewis.

he was also Lee's understudy for Joseph and performed in his place while Lee was on holiday. I wasnt a huge fan of Lewis on the show but I saw him as Joseph and he was actually amazing!

Lewis and Lee are so amazing in this! And the comments about lewis are so true in this - he truly becomes a west end star from this performance.

And this is why Lewis is staying and Ben is gone. This was really good as a duet! I didn't expect that.

@lucylourocksyoursock It's actually Lewis who fluffed up on the previous line 'state to be in...' - he didn't hold 'in' on long enough, which threw the timing off for Lee coming in on the next line. Incidentally, I felt that Lee didn't get the credit he deserved for that performance. For me, he really 'got' the Che character and understood the lyrics he was singing. I was never completely convinced by Lewis.

My favourite part is Lee when they sing 'That's all they wanted...not much to ask for' Fantastic acting.

Personally, I think that this was the best performance that Lewis put in and definately my fave of the many "group" numbers. They were both fantastic. I was sorry that Lewis went out in third place, he is a talented young guy. Keiths voice grates on me, but the best man definately won!

I'd love to see him play this part - Che in Evita - so much more for him to get his teeth into than Joseph.

@paulbranc Lee was more generous while on stage with people. He could still dominate but share -- not acting as though the others do not exist, as Lewis so often seemed to do. Lewis was flashy. He and the camara had a great relationship: he knew how to draw attention and seemed to seek the camara out always.

Oh and Lee is much much better here! This was the first time I saw Lewis as being able to have a possible future in musical theatre- however Lee is a far better actor, his voice is 10 times as better and Lewis always seems to have these OTT gestures where he lifts up his arms in a strange way... he'll improve with age and time he just needs more experience

You know, I just noticed - the Josephs had their mics on the left side of their face whereas the Nancys had theirs on the right! How strange :/ But I loved this performance. Both Lee and Lewis were brilliant :D

Barbie Boy has all the charisma and stage presence of a lump of MDF and if the so called spark the 'lord' seems to see in him is found he is in big trouble...the Meadster rules!!!

well i will say this for lewis, he was better in this that i expected. BUT he has a certain awkwardness on stage that makes his performances unbelievable --- watch lee's face and his physical presence, he acts so well and ur eye is drawn to him. plus when the song gets rockier towards the end, lewis' voice is drowned by the music, which i've noticed alot when he performs.

Lewis was supposed to hold 'in' on for longer, so it became 'iiiiiinnnn' (the same as Lee did with 'you' at the end of the previous line), but he just sang the word 'in' for one beat. He also sang the wrong tune at that point. When holding onto 'in', he was supposed to sing the same tune as Lee had sung in the previous line.

I love this so much, in my opinion Lewis was brilliant in this, and in my opinion, better than Lee. Lee's great, but Lewis has a far better ability to work with an audience and really act a song when he has his heart in it. I just don't think puts his 'heart' across in his performances nearly as well as Lewis. I love him so much, I have no doubt that he will get into theatre and become a famous star too.

Same here RoseTylerxx, and thats not true amze1 :(. I love Lewis, he's great! Lee's good too but I s'pose we all have different tastes and favourites! I can't wait till I go and see Lewis as Joseph in March, when he's covering for Lee whilst Lee's on holiday. WOOT!

No one seems to have noticed Lee fluffed up and came in a bar early when he sings "instead of government we had a stage". I'm not criticising, in fact I think it shows both his professionalism and Lewis' - Lewis waiting for that bar, Lee not being put off by his mistake. Just strange that few people have commented, you Tube is the harshest audience after all!

Lucky person. I'm glad I have people who agree with me, I've been fighting people since Lewis was kicked out that he was the best. I've begged my mum to take me to see Lewis in Joseph as an early 18th or late 17th birthday present but she's defiant I'm getting obesessed over nothing special. So yeah, Lewis does turn me on!

@johartuk Lewis held the 'in' for as long as was necessary, Lee shouldn't have been relying on anything other than his own counting! At best, they were both a bit off. And personally, I didn't want either of them to win but never mind, I knew I'd never get to the West End to see the show so it didn't bother me that much!

If i remember correctly i had lots of pre-teens hassling me re Daniel being gay and one in particular who was aggressive in the extreme towards Lee (those my top 2 incidentally)and this remark shut her up instantly cos Lewis was 'it' as far as she was concerned!!I have no probs with gay folk at all some of my friends are.Did you see anything of Daniel?His version of Close Every Door stunning.

Agree with skelton321- Lee was the only 1 that could have been Joseph- So what if he was a pro ... Lewis was too young, inexperienced, acted way 2 OTT and had very little stage presence IMO. He will get better but atm he couldn't have handled 8 shows a week! Lee had been an understudy 4 ages and wasn't being recognised by producers like BK- this competition was just as good 4 him than any of the others because it has kickstarted his career- he is now a leading man not an understudy!

Le was wonderful in this song (I'd love him to play Che now) and sang and interpreted the song wonderfully, but Lewis's acting wasnt good, he tried, you can see that, but hes nothing next to Lee.
