@@adityab7318 It was more the reason he qualified 6th. Wet track, but a dry last sector - Hamilton had the pace, but backed off on his last lap not knowing how dry the end of the lap was, everyone else improved by a lot and jumped ahead of him.

It’s crazy looking back at that 2014 season. Everybody counted him out when he signed with Mercedes’. Everybody said it was a bad move.

I really think Max Verstappen is the future of the sport. But as a Hamilton fan, I miss when he didn't get slandered on a daily basis and when we just appreciated the man for what he is, one hell of a driver. Call him overrated, call him carried by the car, I saw this man on his debut and I knew he was special.

Me aswell. I've been watching since 07 so I've been lucky enough to see the rise of both hamilton and verstappen. They are both incredible drivers. But unfortunately they have to be in a time where toxicity has overtaken the sport and utterly decimated it.

Yeah visionary by Mercedes who paid very very serious money someone to bring tehnical rules to them with the hibrid engine which they had already. Didn't Lauda asked Hamilton to come to Merc explaining what they have dobe, and that now, it's their time for winning. Not just that, the Merc managed to keep same set od rules for 8 consecutive years winning in a car that was actually "train on track" almost every race. In F1, maximum was half of that, 4 maybe 5 years. Excellent driver for sure, but we bearly saw what those Mercs could actually do if needed. With that saying, very bitchy weasel character, always remembering how he called the box asking to retire the McLaren, who was capable of winning, but in that race things didn't go his way, so what to do? Fight? No, let's retire the car. I mean for a very young driver, one of very few that got the chance to drive F1 in the whole world and beeing paid serious money for doing it, calling Ron Dennis he thinks they should retire the car. That's about his love for Formula 1(only love for winning it) and his work ethisc. Only visionar and hard worker here was Anthony Hamilton, the rest is just "money always talks and merrit always walks". If Alonso was British, and Hamilton a Spanish nationality, everything would happen almost exactly opposite from those that actually happened. And charity, people rights, minority, that's just for rich people making legacies for themselves alone, cause people and the world are always the same, money money and money, but today it's only money and nothing else.
