Lex Luger is one of the pioneers of this shit! I'm always going to hold him to the highest regard 💯🙏🏽🔥👏🏽 The fact of the matter is his music is timeless and thats something that cannot be said about alot of producers.

As someone relatively new to messing around with fl studio, I don't even like the idea of using loops. Feels like cheating and will be much more beneficial to learn how to make my own loops and melodies anyway

Lex the OG wit FL I remember 12 years ago when i was using FL and noone used it because ppl werent hip… fast forward everyone uses FL now but noone does it like Lex! He started that trap sound using FL! Glad to say my first beats and stil to this day are trap style beats along with other styles thansk to FLs versatility 🙏🏼

It's not about the plugins he using it's the sound selection. He still using the same brass/bell type sounds he been using. Most of the prominent producers from Lex's heyday started signing/working with loop makers heavy. IF he had focused on building a network of sample makers and just got creative with newer drum sounds I think he could have been back to the level he was.
