How to fix error in Lexus / Toyota P0300, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0304, P0305, P0306, if the instrument is illuminated check engine + TRC. Usually just clean the filter valve VVTi variable valve timing. Errors while they showed us a misfire / periodic misfire, which can also be caused by contaminated / suspended / lejącymi injectors. Thanks - I have looked all over the internet to see how to clean the VVT solenoid and screen on my 2008 LS460 and can't find it. This was pretty close. I have a P0012 trouble code. I have changed the oil and it went away for a short while but returned. I think I can clean the filter or replace it for $8.00 and clear the code without getting the dealership involved. That can cost me up to $1,000. Mine is an 8 with two banks. Based on what I have seen the #1 bank is on the driver side for my car. Keep it up.

Fully synthetic 5w40, no oil additivs, just change oil and filter all 10 to 15tkms and you will be fine..

If you Change your oil regularly it won't clog up in the first place because the oil has already been filtered...make sure you hear a lot of clicks when you tighten your Petrol Filler Cap...otherwise your EML will come on...did the same mistake and had mine on for a month. ..it reset itself after some hard driving on the Highway. .😆😆😆..I knew it was Minor bcos EML light was on but TRC light was off...when my coil failed..both EML & TRC lights came on...

Hi i have an 1999 Lexus is200 and a fem days Ago when i startet it up it Sounds like its not going on all 6 cylinders and the "TRC OFF" and the "Check enigen" lights are on... Can it be that filter? Or what? Please help

First check: Ignition coils, spark plugs. Then check: the VVTI filter and clean it. If that does not help, you must clean your engine inside, because these motors are sensitive on engine oil. What engine oil you use? Recommended are 5W30 A3/B4 or 5W30 A5/B5.

Remove the valve cover and check the degree of soiling of the motor. All lexuses are very sensitive to oil purity. Check the clearances on the valves. If everything is ok, and if you hear the sounds of chirping mainly on a cold engine, then you have to replace the cranked rods.

A czy w 1.8 vvti (corolla verso) jest teki filterek??? Check nie świeci ale mam wrażenie że jakieś słaby ten silnik mam

Powodów może być dużo... to jak szukanie igły w stogu siana bez zczytania błędu. Sam check engine to nie wszystko. Proszę spróbować odpiąć akumulator na 30miniut, jeśli błąd zniknie usterka jest drobna i można wtedy brać pod uwagę zapchany filtr VVti, jeśli check będzie się nadal palił usterki trzeba szukać gdzie indziej i jest ona usterką mechaniczną - począwszy od kompresji, ciśnienia paliwa, wtryskiwaczy, czujnika położenia przepustnicy. Tak na prawdę to nic nie wiem o samochodzie, bo silniki VVti często wytarzają nagar który jest przyczyną bardzo dużych skutków ubocznych. Właściciele takich aut szukają rozwiązania w złym miejscu, a wystarczy zdjąć pokrywę zaworów i zobaczyć w jakim stanie jest silnik.

@@PiotrTester check nie świeci u mnie... Jedyny problem to taki ze wydaje mi sie ze jest jakiś ospały ten silnik. Przebieg mam 80tys km i jest pewny na 100 procent bo w rodzinie od nowości. Zdejme pokrywe zaworów, przeczyszcze filterek vvti i może zawór vvti też. Może pomoże? A jeszcze mam jedno pytanie czy można jednoznacznie (jakimś np. testerem) stwierdzic poprawność działania układu vvti???
