Once you get Lexus, you don't go back! I just bought a ES 350 in Nightfall Mica (dark blue). It looks and feels sexy, I had installed a bunch of LED'S in there and am still modding it. You'll have fun with that car! It hit me for about 30K.

@@1bosstv I really want the 2021 IS 350 f sport, but unfortunately it's out of my range at the moment. I think for now I'll just get an GR86 then once the right time comes I'll trade mine in for an ISF.

@@haii1650 My Lexus is XV60. I'm not really into the sporty stuff. I picked ES since I'm 6'2. IS and GS don't have that legroom I need. F-Sport tends to have higher insurance rates. I promised myself I'd get a Lexus. Feb. 15th, 2023, I succeeded! Having a new career path really helped! BTW the car hit me for 31K after taxes. Georgia Ad Valorem tax is kinda high, but you only pay it once.

That spare harness that your unsure of, I believe it plugs into the ambient lighting control box (obviously) and the other end into the wiring harness for the buttons on your steering wheel. I have a similar ambient lighting kit on my infiniti and can change the colours on my kit by holding the "back" button on my steering wheel for a few seconds. Other cars such as mercs and audi's that use these aftermarket kits, to change colours you need to hold down a particular button on the steering wheel then at the same time, toggle using the volume up and down buttons on the steering wheel.

Makes sense why I couldn’t find the plug. But yeah to get behind the steering I would have to remove the steering wheel which I’m to lazy to do lol. I’m good with just Bluetooth 😅

@@Und3rgroundLex hi. Is there a simpler kit to install ( in terms of wiring and no drilling) , if I just want the door panel light strips and no other lights? How long did it take you to install this? A lot of led lights , even high quality ones eventually fail so I'm not inclined to go through the labor intensive process of installing. Thanks

@@allboutthemojotook me about 5hours all together hour per door panel this does include testing easiest part for me was doing the lights under the seats and dashboard and wiring the power that only took 30min

Led bars and lights looks like it’ll be direct since the 21+ interior is basically the same. The plug and play part Im not sure. You’ll have to check and compare if it’s the same with what I show on the video. It’s possible tho that’s it’s the same plug.

Hey dude I just installed these strips on my 3is. The little strip to the left of the wheel is where I’m having an issue I can’t clip the panel up when I put it there.. we’ll I can but the clip in the top right closest to the wheel keeps popping out. I’d love to see a picture of how yours looks and maybe send you one of what Maine looks like for a suggestion. Please get back to me thanks!

Damn you got me wanting to try the IS kit on a RC. Any idea if you can just have your front two doors and dash lit without the rear ones? Im assuming not all have to be plugged in

Yeah it’ll definitely work! At first while installing I was about to not do the foot well lighting but then I just decided to just get it over with. But you can definitely just do the front doors.

Yeah I saw Kenny’s video too! Both are similar it’s just his you had to splice the wires and find the power source and the center led is higher where the screen is. More of preference tho but both look good. 👌🏿
