These two are a pair of the most dynamic warriors on the tour, neither EVER give an inch and always give their all every point in every match. Hearts of Lions both. From the points that I watched, the big difference in this match was that Sorribes Tormo hits the majority if her shots right back to her opponent. At the pro level, that is a losing formula....
@FinancialFreebo7 ай бұрын
@@jesuslovesmebut8180 I hear you, but that's why she will never be high ranked. The winning formula is... when you have enough time to get your feet set, you go down the line or cross court. Period. I'm not saying she is the most athletic or the most consistent, but Ostapenko comes to mind. She busts the ball for a winner, or accepts losing. That is one example of how to play aggressive, high ranking, women's tennis... Gauff is playing more that way too and look at her results...
@isabellasmith83777 ай бұрын
I agree. You give penko a ball down the middle and she can hit winners both left and right. Leylah needs more power coz she can hit her spots more accurately now but the pace is slow. Happy to see a more consistent leylah

god those grunts are sooooo freeking annoying and they are becoming more common over the years. It's like if coaches over time, have introduced them being part of training/strategy like if you'll hit the ball better or it will intimidate opponents or something. I can't imagine how distracting it could be for opponents during play. Somebody someday will raise the question if it's unsportsmanship and should be called/warned during games.
