Just under three years ago, Leyton Orient were within a penalty shoot-out of gaining promotion to the Championship. Following a 3-0 loss at Crewe on Saturday 22 April 2017, Orient have dropped out of the Football League for the first time in their history. We talk to fans of the Os who place the blame firmly at the feet of their Italian owner, Francesco Becchetti.

As a Southampton fan, I am very disappointed with this situation that they are taking. Leyton Orient doesn't deserve the drop so much that I am very upset with their owner and the uncertain future of the club. Hope to you guys to be safe in the Non-League and good luck next season.

As an Oxford fan, I had to endure you taunting us (despite the denial of Os fans, I was there and saw it with my own eyes) when you got promoted and simultaneously relegated us to non-league football back in 2006. Karma. Hope you languish there a while, it's a tough league to get out of. Away days are a laugh though, takes you to plenty of rickety old school grounds in random locations.

Why were you so surprised and offended by the taunting? The fans of any other club would've done exactly the same. It's football, not rugby.

J Ham If you say so flower. I guess we should hold a grudge against Crewe until 2028. That is how sad this oxford grudge is and made up by a bunch of 12 yo on the internet who probably were not even there. You do know Oxford fans invaded our pitch in the 80's after winning promotion and causing more problems than 2006....I bet you did.

J Ham no one ever aimed that at you getting relegated and if they did it was a small minority and it was a celebration for us
