Please join me in this video for a walk around the other side of LEYTONSTONE from Wanstead Flats to Cann Hall and other local areas, exploring some history as well as my own family history locations.

Im Ricky Im 36 and live in Leytonstone and have lived here all my life since 1987.
My father Richard Ives also live in Leytonstone.
This walk was filmed on my canon m50 camera with sigma 16mm les and edited in premier pro using an iMac computer.

I just subscribed to the channel, great content. I grew up on Cann hall rd and attended Cann Hall School, Lake House and Tom Hood all now gone. I left England in 1986 and now reside in the USA.

I was born in Short Road in 1968 and moved to Australia in 1973. I've really enjoyed watching your video's and have found them very interesting. I was there last year but only for a quick pie 'n' mash on the highroad, I didn't get to have a look around. My Aunt Sylvia and Uncle Dick lived on Worsley Road and I'm pretty sure that my Grandfather's shoe repair shop was on the opposite corner to your Uncle's Hairdresser shop ... my Dad Maurice Crossley and his brothers and sisters grew up there. My Great Grandmother also had a fish and chip shop on Cann Hall road. I look forward to watching more. Cheers, Alan.

Some great history there, I do plan on getting some better content with longer shots of areas so hopefully will be able to see a lot more ❤
