i lost 800k in a divorce i didn’t see coming. 20 years of blood sweat and tears and yet i got the rug pulled. I was 50 then. Ive busted my balls in the last 4 years and Ive restored what i lost through clever but risky investing. I start a new job next week on 160k a year and will retire at 60 no worries. I will never risk my estate again by getting married, cohabiting or knocking someone up. Stay single, strong and you are in total control of your life, men.

It is because there are no laws in place that protect men in marriage.

Only 3 things people care about: 1) what you look like. 2) what you have. 3) what you can provide for them. Is that simple… Everything else is still influence by these 3 things.

The reason to not get married is the life I've lived. I divorced 5 years ago and have a 6 year old. All those years later and she is still making my life hell by manipulating my daughter. It truly is the most difficult thing I've faced.

I was with my ex for 3 years and lived together for 1. I considered marrying her but I just couldn’t do it. The amount of disrespect and drama I received from her after the honeymoon phase was over was just too much. I do not want to live with another woman again much less marry her. Lfa is right being single is a peace unlike any other.

1) Women used to have a lot more humility and rely on men. 2) Divorce used to carry a social stigma and motivate people to put in work to honor their vows. Now women are hyper independent and divorce is normalized. So it's a lot easier for women to opt out on situations that no longer benefit them. I mean, the divorce rate is 50% and stats show that 80% of them are initiated by women. That will give a lot of men pause. 💯

Marriage has always been either a religious institution or a societal contract to exchange certain things (chastity in exchange for provision, money, power, properties, societal acceptance, etc). When a culture doesn’t have those views anymore, marriage becomes non existent. The issue is that this same culture still wants marriage but they have tried to redefine it. Why? Why do modern, promiscuous, and faithless people need marriage? Why aren’t relationships, sex buddies, and situationships enough? Well, it’s because we weren’t made for that. Deep down, even the most secular person wants someone special to spend the rest of their life with. The problem is that we live at a point in time in which people want their cake and they want to eat it too. People can get mad at this statement that I’m about to make, but you can’t reap the rewards of a Christian lifestyle without being Christian. That’s really what it comes down to even if people don’t want to admit it to themselves. Mixing modernism with traditionalism is like mixing water with oil. It just hasn’t worked and will never work. We all reap what we sow. Expecting the wholesome monogamous family life while having lived a life of debauchery, well, can we really surprised at all the failed marriages? Not really.

One thing I disagree with when you divorce with kids, the man’s not going to live in an apartment he’ll be living in his vehicle if he’s lucky

Pay a visit, to family court for 1 day. And one sees the reason irl, why men avoid marriage. Many mens life ad finances have been "ruined" or set to extreme struggle mode for plenty years, in the family court system.

I’ve never met another person (male or female) content with my lifestyle. Weather bad? Video games. Weather good? Jog followed by swimming. That’s it. That’s what makes me happy. Everyone else in life will eventually want to do something (using expensive) else.

I was married from ages 21-31, i was kind of pressured into it in a weird way, and since i was young and inexperienced i went along with it, boy what a crazy ride it was, now at 35 i am in the best shape of my life, im confident, i feel good and i always have a girl or 2 strictly for fun, why the hell would i want to remarry? Theres no benefit at all lol in fact marriage is dumb and its a scam, you do not need to be tied down to anybody! Enjoy life boys, especially you younger guys, stop worrying about women and go have some fun! One of the antidotes is to exit social media (SM), with the possible exception of YT. I'm not talking about just deleting the app from your mobile device. I'm talking about deleting profiles altogether. SM is full of distortions, echo chambers that negatively impact man as well as women. These days, so many young men seem to despise women based in large part on what they view within SM platforms. Same for women. It's sad. People tend to treat SM content as if it's real, when it's often not. I deleted all SM a couple years ago. I interact with people strictly in person or via telephone, text or email. Sure, it's old school. But I love the peace & serenity now, and I'm not overly influenced by all the trash & manipulation on SM.

You’re right. Modern society has only had two rules when it comes to sex: consent and condoms. That’s it. Outside of that, people have been trained to believe anything is permissible and without consequences. No wonder people are so damaged and confused about the state of the world. They were never taught right and wrong. If anything, people were taught that the idea of something being wrong (outside of condoms and consent), is itself wrong. Ultimately it falls on the parents of the children to teach them how to be respectable human beings.. each generation “not wanting their kids to go thru what they did” has created this.. they took discipline out of the schools, at sum point we have given minors rights.. truth hurts but that’s where it has failed by giving children rights.. they’ve also taken fathers out of the home full time… fathers now have to fight for the rights to see their children at all… why anybody would get married and have kids at this point is beyond me..

I believe the Govt and the Church should stay out of the marriage sector. Marriage licenses should be on a renewal basis. Just like a car license. There is something terribly wrong when over 80% of today's divorces are initiated by women.

It took me four nasty breakups that financillay ruined me for me to learn my lesson. Each time started from scratch. Then lost it all again to my exs... never again wil i loose 1 penny to a female.
