I would love to have seen Gerrard play for Klopp. I remember after Salah's screamer against Chelsea, Klopp said he'd never seen a shot like that live before - adding that he had seen a 10 minute compilation video of Gerrard doing it though. While I love watching our current squad wriggle through defenses, I miss the thrill of knowing that if the ball came to Gerrard anywhere within 30 yards of the goal, he might release a bomb. And the scream of "Gerraaard!" He was so so much more than goals. My favorite quality of Steven Gerrard was if he lost the ball to someone in his early days - he would do a one-man gegenpressing until Liverpool had won it back.

I grew up watching Gerrard he's my idol and I would do anything to be him. I'm 15 and starting football at chorley FC which is small but youth and honestly I feel like if I try like Gerrard did I can make it there to Anfield, to home.
