@Sea Bass. I have a question. Jimmy Hendrix was a little before I knew anything about music lol 😂 I though I read somewhere that since he was left handed he learned how to play the right handed guitar 🎸. I guess learned how to play “upside down?” Which I think IS AMAZING!!! Do you know if this is true? I know it has nothing to do with this video, but it shows how amazing Hendrix was!!! Just a fun fact!! 😊😊
@basseon3 жыл бұрын
@@amyjoquinn1288 I don't know but I know there are right handed and left handed guitars. From a quick google search I see that he was ultimately ambidextrous but is famous for playing guitar with the left hand on flipped and re-stringed right handed guitar (which becomes left handed). So he played his right handed guitar upside down. He used his left hand to throw, comb his hair and hold cigarette but used his right hand to eat and hold telephone. Some call him a mixed-right-handed. Great guitarists tends to be relatively ambidextrous as both hands are super important. Paul McCartney and Kurt Cobain were also playing guitar with the left hand.

It's truly a heavy metal masterpiece in that it's not saturated with too much distortion, the notes are hard, but clean, the tempo stays the same, but it crescendos with the amount of instruments that come in gradually. I just can't say enough good things about this classic. My dad, who was convinced that all heavy metal was just headache-inducing noise, became a believer when he gave this song an honest chance. @Roy-hn4ek2 жыл бұрын
Hi LFR Jojo, came up by this video by pure coincidence. First, i like your positive reaction to Metallica. Glad you're liking them, they're 1 of the big 4 of metal rock bands. Just a small explanation about their songs in general: every Metallica song has a theme about it (and sometimes a message in it), they sing about war, about addictions, about struggle, about conflicting emotions, about justice/injustice and corruption, about drugs/alcohol, and mythology/supernatural. You can get the general idea of the theme of the songs by seeing the title of the album in which they were released. In this case, Enter Sandman is a song about the mythical character of the sandman, a supernatural beast that enters homes at night and puts grains of sand in children's eyes when they sleep so that they wouldn't wake up, then he takes them to his realm, the neverland, and devours them. Now read the lyrics of the song again, and it will make perfect sense. If you like Metallica's songs, and any metal rock band's song in general, always look up the lyrics if you didnt understand them all, and research the theme of the song, you will like them 100x times more. Peace, man. :)
