Wow, I saw this and thought, hey that’s a futuristic concept! Then I saw the upload date

I bought the Circle Case just a few days after purchasing the LG3. I love it. I have had no problems with it whatsoever. I have the black phone and case. I always wondered about having the white version but I think in the long run I would have gotten it pretty dirty so I'm happy that I got the black one. Personally I think the reviewer is very nitpicky with the features. I've never had any issues with the cover opening up on me just because there is no magnetic closure to it. Never had any issues with the speaker and the flap covering up the speaker. I just lay it down and listen to it like that. As far as the circle apps, personally I'm fine with what it gives you which is the basics. You can call from it and check text messages. What else do you need? Then "there is not enough clock options for the circle case? Really? 9 options is not enough?? lol I've been nothing but happy with everything. Maybe if you get the white cover you will see the dirt build up on the cover. If you get a protective cover for the phone then the open exposed circle shouldn't matter too much right? I think the only problem I have had so far is that I took some accidental pocket photos but I've always had that happen to me since I bought my first cell phone in the early 2000's so nothing new there. Great phone. 5 out of 5 stars and no nitpicky problems to go with it! :)

For me the stand out feature of the circle case is the circular LED light which looks awesome.

Love this case and I have to get me one, but first i'm going to have to get me a LG G3

What a dumb idea. The whole point of a case is to protect the screen. Now that they've cut out a great big hole in the case, what's the point? The circle will be very noticeable after a while when you open the case, since it will collect dust, grease, scratches, etc. So now we have to get cases for cases?

Really interesting product. Great to see manufactures step there game up. Consumers need more like this. Would be great if they made it for the g2.

I purchased the black case @ AT&T online USA version after seeing your review. and like it! im glad the Quick view ring is clear plastic but it does look like metal. I'm impressed with the feel of this lux case and its Qi function. It slides right into my pocket much easier than a rubber case. I went to AT&T today to have my LG G3 activated and case put on and everyone working wanted to see it in action ! It was easier than I thought to switch from a brand of phone that had more hype than actuality. LG and Danny you have a new fan !

I believe that htc dot view case is just more creative and useful; you can use the whole screen which means you have more space for your fingers, the whole idea was nice and just great. really really practical and useful!

I'm normally not a big fan of flip cases but this one I think is awesome

the US version is completely different from what you have. I have an AT&T g3 and went to Verizon due to lack of case options at AT&T . I watched your review before hand and without thinking removed my backplate and installed. really loose and awful feeling. removed it and realized its a snap on case and there is no need to remove the back. it stays on while the case protects the backplane. that's a good thing for me. also seems to stay open and closed very nicely. I'm very pleased of the function and the super minimalist design LG has going on here. haven't wanted to use the new spegin I received yesterday. g3/gwatch combo rocks and I'm sure the Wear experience will only get better. 50%off the gwatch when you purchase a new g3. put a luminox band on my watch and its great.

It's far more versatile than my HTC Dot View case. The G3 is growing on me more and more.

I just got this phone and I will say it's the best phone I've owned.. Everything about it is what a phone should be! I've owned about all top androids,I phones and always found things I didn't like about all of them but I will say this phone will be around awhile..

Really well made video dude, nicely done :) The flip case on the G2 was a touch bulky and as mentioned made a nuisance of typing when it was on. Glad to see the G3's eased that out :)

A review that states everything that a user wants to know. Thumbs up from me. I would like to know something from you though if you have used this device for more than a month or so. Last years respective case for the G2, had a problem especially for those that kept the phone in their pockets. The metallic ring on the window of the case did mark/scrathch some screens as many many users reported. Have you used this phone and case long enough to tell us if this problem appears on this years model?

That's weird how it actually replaces the back panel. Here in Aus, the Quick Circle Case actually covers the back panel instead of replacing it, which I actually prefer since it protects the back and wireless Qi charging still works.

Thanks for the great review, Danny! I have owned a Verizon Samsung Galaxy Note II for the past two years and I'm ready to upgrade. While the Note 4 is a totally awesome phone in every aspect, I am considering the G3 instead. It's a great phone, but Sammy's Touch Wiz is too limited. So I have been using Nova Launcher. I have a flip case cover for the Note II which protects the screen far better than a screen protector. So this Quick Circle Case for the G3 makes my Note II flip cover look like yesterday's news. Being able to take a picture while the G3's case is closed is awesome. Being able to use the camera with the case open says LG is really thinking about the user. At $99 for the G3 (with a 2-year contract at Verizon) and this case for $60 (Amazon has it without wireless charging for around $40) is a no-brainer for me.

I have the none charging version it just clips over the normal wireless charging back. Works just the same and I love it brilliant design and protects your phone.

The LG G3 is making real hard to wait for the note 4, it like the video you did a great job Danny and I like the phone

You have to remove the original back case before putting on this cover? holy shit I've been using the case with the back cover for about 4 months now.. does it make a difference?

The case is really nice. The only downside of it, is the lack of a magnetic lock, as you've alluded to. Other than that, I think this is a winner!

Thie is a good concept and a good product/ Maybe with 2 magnets on the side and a protection edge at the top and bottom sides, then this will surely be followed by other producers. Eigher in a circular cut or Rectangular one for Samsung, Apple etc.

Hey I noticed that while I can answer the phone with the case closed, it still defaults to a regular call - as in, NOT speakerphone. Is that something I can change, because there isn't much point in answering a phone with the case still closed if I have to open the case to actually converse with the person.

Great review, , That circle case is really nice, one small question, will you be able to install a rubber case on top of that circle case? Im asking this questions because it looks like it wont protect the phone at all.. I will love to se a rubber case that will be able to cove the back, top and bottom of this phone... After looking at a ton of reviews on this phone and the case I must say that I am really impressed with what LG has done with this phone. I used to have the LG Rumor and the LG xenon and was very disappointed and said that I would never go back to LG again but I think I need this phone. If anyone has anything else to say about this phone weather they like it or don't like please let me no. :)

When you use wireless charging you have to charge the charger and then you can carry it everywhere right?

all cool but this takes away the purpose of a case right? the cutout for will just leave an open window for scratches.

definitely a promising case. a few rough edges but I'm sure the next set will smoothen those out. Right now, the good outweighs the bad by a considerable factor. :)

This quick circle case and the knock on function is a nightmare if you used to put your phone in the side pocket, the phone will constantly wake up in your pocket and doing whatever the quick circle menu can do randomly. The worst situation is that the camera will turned on and drain out the battery, you won't even notice it until you feel the phone is running hot...

Could Google Play Music be used in place of the stock LG music app using the quick circle function?

I just got this cover. It works as expected, except when I flip the front cover around to the back, it puts the phone to sleep and the clock appears and closes my app. Did you experience any problems like that? Or, I assume I have a defected cover?

HOW does this work if I have a password??? I always have an alpha numeric password on all of my phones. I'm wondering if I can access all of those basic apps without having to open the case and key in the password.

Sure the case does seem cool stuff, you can even turn off the phone via the circle by holding down the power button in the back, then tap the check-mark at the cirle opening, too bad, it is limited to turning off the phone only, not restarting the phone.

Can this case be used with the other LG G3s like the stylus and the beat or just the original Lg G3

So Samsung did the S View Cover and now everyone does it. I sill think the HTC M8 cover looks the best alongside the S4 cover.

I like the style and features of this case but i hate folio cases, they r so uncomfortable to hold with the left hand even so with the lg g3 cus the screen is massive.

Your probably using the Korean version of the G3 right? If so are you on T-Mobile or AT&T. Do you get LTE speeds. I might get one and wondering if I could use the full T-Mobile 4G LTE network. Respond please and great video!
