Good job on that repair. The two things I would've done is wear gloves and using the right tools but you were very finesse using that box cutter razor.

I don't think I've loved or hated a phone so much as th LG G6. I've had the camera glass fall out twice, I just realized the rear cover is glass and that broke with a Spigen case on the phone. The usb-c plug us always dry and the phone doesn't charge all the time due to moisture detection. It's very aggravating. There are no updates available for my previous LG G4 and my older Nexus 5, made by LG, has usb issues. Are samsung phones much better?

I didn't see the damn thing power up at the end. Did anyone notice that as well.

Damn, you should use a suction cup to pull the back panel up not a knife. If you are unlucky you actually puncture the battery which is right next to the edge at that side. Also you can cut some ribbon cables. Too be honest thi sis quite a messy repair. YOu can buy the complete back assembly with powerbutton for around 30USD on ebay with the right adhesive preapplied. This makes sure it is still water proof after installation.

It’s very easy job. But I don’t recommend to use a blade lol. Use plastic.

wow, you further F up the back cover before you could take it off, and removing the home button and camera is not a easy job to do. Given this phone with good condition is dirt cheap right now in $150 range, I would just freaking buy another one and call it a day...

I've got to applaud LG for coming up with the "brilliant" idea of making the back of the phone out of glass. Its provides no benefit and will shatter. It weakens the whole design. Why not aluminum or plastic? Dumb, just dumb.
