+kostas giannopoulos thanks for the input! I definitely miss the removable battery and was confused as to why LG got rid of that feature. The more I use water resistant phones, the more I realize how important it is, just in case. I should be able to review the S7 and S7 edge, but the P10 might be a little difficult for me to get, but I shall try! Based on specs, I would take the S7. Higher resolution screen, I'm not a fan of huawei's skins, and wireless charging. They're pretty close though!

You probably have me covered with your response anyhow. You see, most of the reviews focus on specs what the device looks on paper and your focus on the design vulnerabilities was very refreshing especially since they were real life events and not speculation. If i understood well you are in the business of servicing phones which is exactly why your opinion carries more weight since you know more about customer satisfaction than a random "pro" tester. And i am glad you say the s7, i never really understood how last years presumably top phone (s7) is out of the top 10 list of all major sites while there are some budget entries there and phones like the apple se. I mean if it was topping it last year, how come its completely out of the picture now while the low entries are still there? Lol . P10 was an afterthought and i ll drop it, g6 is intriguing since it matches all the extras of the s7 (wireless charge, waterproof, it even has radio, lol) but yeah, kind of hard to ignore the s7 just because a newer model was rolled out,feels like the low thrill (2016 model) but ultra safe play, haha. +evrett ward I normally wouldn't mess with the Amazon Ad phones, but some of those just have basic software on top of the stock software the phone normally comes with. With this said, I am seeing mixed results on removing the ads, so I can't say for sure that I would be able to remove the ads. You should be able to find a used G6 for less than $400 on eBay. There might be some new ones, but I would stay away from those. Just make sure the phone is able to be used on your carrier.

I would go with the OnePlus 5T, but I will go over the pros and cons of both. Pros; LG G6-Fits nice in the hand, the screen size is nice at 5.7 inches 1440p, SD card slot, water resistant, LG software enhancements(may be a con for some), Wide angle lens (again, may be a con for some), wireless charging. 5T-Slightly larger screen at 6.01 inches, Gorilla Glass 5, AMOLED display, more durable frame, near stock OS, SnapDragon 835, bluetooth 5.0, 6GB/64GB of Ram/Storage (and 8GB/128GB for $60 more), dual 16MP and 20 MP cameras on the back, 16MP front camera, $500 or $560 brand new from OnePlus. Cons; LG G6-Display is an IPS LCD, glass on the front and back so it has a higher chance of breaking something if dropped, gorilla glass 3 in on the front, cameras are only 13mp on the back and 5mp on the front (may not be an issue for some), SnapDragon 821 when we are going into 2018, bluetooth 4.2 (which is an issue to some), $500-$700 new depending on what carrier you buy from. 5T-Screen is only 1080p, some complain that it is an AMOLED (I wouldn't consider this a con), no SD card slot, metal on the back (not a con for me, con for some), lastly the Oxygen OS is loved by some and hated by others. Hope this helps make your decision!

Kind of. They're pretty close to being the same size as most phones with on-screen buttons. It is possible to make them smaller in the settings (under Display Size)
