Nice Review but you forgot to tell if you want the 10 Bit Mode from the Monitor you must activate it in Nvidia Settings bcs under Windows its only 8 Bit!

Is it plug and play? Or do you have to change the colours. I play fifa 23 the most of the time. Do you have to change te hertz?

On Xbox you just need to go to settings and change to 1440p 120Hz. Same on PlayStation 5. After that just plug and play. Colors for me is good, without touching it even on HDR.

@@berkaand5797 Its HDMI 2.0 so a 2.0 cable should work. In PS5 you just need to do a 1440p-Test. My test worked. 1440p SDR/120Hz Works 1440p HDR/1440P Works.

The only off-putting thing this monitor has for me is that red accent color. See, I want the best monitor for that price range for my home office setup and that's the one. Just that accent color screams gamer all over the place. I guess I'll have to deal with that.

Hello, good video, there is the GN850-B model that has a base that is adjustable in height and angles, and claims to be NanoIPS, it usually costs the same on Amazon, however they say that the 1ms is not real because if 10 bits are activated are reduced to 8. Would it be worth getting that model? Or is the GN800-B version better than if it has 1ms real

yes, you should be able to, but not in all the games, you might have to opt for the "performence" mode rather than "quality" in some titles, but this monitor would fit a series s quite nicely :D

If your graphics card can handle 1440p at 144hz then yes. Depends on the game and the GPU. A GTX 1660ti could play CSGO at 144 fps and 1440p but would struggle with hitting 60 fps in flight sim at 1440p

almost certainly yes. I have a 1060 and I can get decent (60+) frame rates at 1440 (albeit in different games as I don't play fortnite). 3070 is significantly more powerful, so it should be a non-issue.

I have this same monitor connected to my ps5 . How come I can’t access the other color settings on Picture adjust , except brightness and sharpness 😒😒 ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA ? It shows contrast , gama etc etc but it’s never highlighted for me to be able to adjust 😒

1440p/120hz w/out freesync but probably 100hz w/freesync.

@@snzjavi GN works on 1440P/120Hz with Freesync but the GL works without Freesync 1440P/120Hz. LG GN800 Amazing Colourful IPS Display with 1ms GtG (1ms MPRT = 2-3ms GtG) that means 1ms GtG better than 1ms MPRT. Anyway i got Samsung G7

Pretty sure ps5 doesn’t officially support 1440p. Possible later with an update. So monitors are harder to find for a Ps5 at 1440p. There are ps5 1440 hacks. Look those up.
