The light bouncing off the walls is ruining the black levels! Put some black velvet around the screen and itll be a world of difference. And get an actual screen thats square.

Had mine for 3 years, 1069 hours, white dot (dead pixel) on screen. Frustrating.

@@Rgan2362 honestly, I can’t say I would get the LG. I’m not familiar with the other brand you mentioned. I’d say do as much research as you can. If the unit you settle on is new, you may not find much. The LG model has been out for some time now. I actually sent it back to LG for repair. It cost 854. They replaced the DLP chip. Maybe the units they are shipping now have better chips. Regardless, do your research and determine likely maintenance cost on the unit and go from there. Good luck.
