Very smart technique, tried to make my own version without using any apps. I just allowed OEM by tricking the developer option to appear then moving to developer option for OEM unlock. Unlocked bootloader. Installed custom rom, the device loaded normally and now I am working on fixing up playstore apps for modifications

My mother in law Google locked her phone and didn't even know she had a Google account let alone the password. This tutorial worked perfectly. Hold the volume buttons to toggle voice over, a simple press doesn't do it. When you turn on voice over and restart the phone be very quick to pull down the window shade menu and click on settings. If you're slow you will have to restart the phone again.

This phone may also have Android 8.1.0, there are several different methods on my KZfaq channel for LG phones, try other videos - don’t worry if in video is different phone, it is all about Android security patch

When I get into settings it only shows Wi-Fi and tethering it won't let me enable unknown sources

Here you have to enable TalkBack function again with Volume keys and then restart phone. Next thing is to get into Text to Speech Settings and then slide down to get Settings/Unknown Sources... I will add captions/sub-title in my videos for people to understand the method easily...

Ingrid Macias: hard reset your phone and try to bypass google account again. It will work. Some other people have had this problem and was resolved after they made hard reset.

You have to make hard reset your phone and start the process again. It will work 100% - some other people had the same problem and it was resolved after they made reset.

@@wesf2258 my friend was messing around with it he got on FB through the browser and then he pulled the task bar down but I didn't know what to do because I was doing something else and he said he got into the settings and it just hard reset on him out of nowhere by itself so I dono it didn't work after I hard reset it though not right after anyway

cereal sauce memery power off phone, press and hold volume down + power for 3-4 sec, when you see LG logo on screen, release only power button for 4/5 sec and than again press power button. Do not release volume down button in whole procedure. Not until you see Factory Reset screen. You could also Google hard reset for your model

Luis Ramos Hard reset your phone and start again from the beginning. Some other users had this same problem and it was resolved after they made factory reset / hard reset their phones.

You have to enable Talkback and restart phone, then you open "Text to Speech Settings" by swipe "L" and then disable talkback with both volume keys and slide down to get Notification/Shortcut menu to get into settings.
