@@Robsreviewsanddemos Hi, Love your review on this LG Xboom RN5! I have a couple of questions. 1. Which size Mackie Thump Speaker Bag or which size Rockville Speaker Bag do u think this will fit in? Both of them make good sized speaker bags. I would appreciate if you aren't familiar with those bags to look on Amazon and match them up. I have an old 15 inch pa system that fits in the 15 inch Mackie Thump bag though the bags were designed for The Mackie Speakers. It fits just right. This System seems to be smaller in appearance. So I'm thinking that the same size speaker Bag would be too big for this Speaker. I want to buy this speaker and get protection for it! 2. I don't know if you can put this speaker on a tripod or not? Even if so, I still want a cover to go over it when I'm not using it. I hope you can help me with answers for these questions. Thank you

Sorry this is in my spam folder, The rn5 sounds better clarity wise, but the ok75 is probably 70% more powerful. The rn7 is closer in power but still only 60% of the ok75. The ok75's clarity is much better with an aux cable or a cd. If I had to pick one I'd go ok75. Can you still find an ok75?

Tough choice. Generally I don't recommend buying two party speakers. So I would go with 1 rn7. Yeah probably, I can't wait to pick that up. But first I'm picking up my buddies PB300 to get a battle going. that should be interesting. I'm glad you mentioned the ON models, I didn't know about them and will be getting the big one ASAP.

RN and ON and the exact same speaker, they use different model letters for different regions of the world. RN's are N. America, ON's are S. America, India and I believe Europe. The Ok's are the old models that have been discontinued, they were by far the most powerful. There are very few OK99's still available. Same with the OL100, that's an overseas model that is not available in the U.S. But it's their most powerful party speaker. Hope this helps you. Remember if you want a big party speaker you have to consider your room size, there is such a thing as too big when it comes to speakers in your home. If you get a large speaker and the room is too small you won't hear the bass. If you need help choosing, let me know your budget, room size, if you need a battery and how you will be using it. With that info I can hook you up with the perfect speaker.

The rn5 can be paired with an additional rn5 but sadly it will not be stereo. Lg needs to get on the ball with that. The only lg I know of that pairs in stereo is the rk7.

LG all the way, it's not even close. If you can afford the lg rn7 that's even better.

The party box and the rk7 nearly got the same sound on max whithout eq. This will be a close one, but i'm interested if the rk7 or the rl5 is better.

The LG sounds better.

The RN7 has superior sound but is missing the strobe lights. They're both great speakers. I'm not sure how loud the rn7 is yet, I should have a video with both by the end of the month.

The 99 is awesome, for a Party speaker you can't beat it. It is insanely loud. It needs a big room you have to have some distance between yourself and the speaker to take advantage of the monster bass. You'll enjoy it and you're lucky they are getting very hard to find.

Lg Ol100 its better than lg ok99 its more hig and mid ;). Lg ok99 its more bass than lg Ol100;)

@@dariopieterson Not necessarily true. The LG ok 99 has an onboard EQ and you can turn up the mids and highs.

Between these two, the pb300 has a battery so it's portable. The rn5 has lots of features. Both are good speakers, depends how you'll use it.

Soundboks, LG makes a few, and Sony has a couple models. Soundboks would be my first pick or LG. Lg's speakers sound amazing nowadays.

LG on5 is only available in the UK. That model Panasonic is only available in India. Sorry brother can't help you.

Yeah LG is actually made in Korea but I don’t know much where Panasonic was made

So I'm not very familiar with them but I took a look and I would think as long as your tv has bluetooth you could connect it no problem. So basically connect to the tv like you were going to use the tv speakers, then just connect to the speaker with your tv's bluetooth. Hope this helps, thanks for the question.

It looks like that model is available in India and not in the U.S., but it doesn't have mids. I always try to buy Lg's with Mids, they have way better sound.

the rk7 has the deepest bass. next is the rn5, which sounds nicer and is a little louder.

Probably not much if any at all. The difference is where they're sold, maybe power cords, otherwise it's probably the same unit.

I can't remember off the top of my head, but I believe you turn that to adjust the levels of the selected item. So bass up or down, mic echo etc.

@@Thefastlane425 If you don't need the battery in the jbl I'd definitely get the lg. You're getting a lot more speaker for the money. The battery is much of the cost of the encore.

Unfortunately the rn9 is not available in the U.S.. I am testing the RN7 currently, so far it sounds better but isn't as loud. I think the rn9 would destroy the ok75.

Yeah some of the older speakers it definitely made a difference. The newer models don't seem to have the fuzz from the blue tooth that the older ones did.

Well if you need the battery you did fine, if not maybe you can return it. I'll be having a battle between the rk7, rn5 and the pb300 this week. Maybe that can help you decide.

@@yilmazcagri I have not tried the Sony, but I like the fact that it has a cd player. So I like the LG controls better than the sonys. You have a little better control over the tone of the music. The Sony is a cheaper unit, so that counts for something. I think the Sonys are a good value. They generally sound decent and have a great price. The Lg's generally sound a little better and have more and easier to use functions. So it depends what you want, do you want a little better value with decent sound or to pay a little more for better sound and features.
