Excellent tutorial, I was struggling to connect my Alexa compatible devices to my LG Smart Tv. Thanks a lot for the video. I have a question to you, I already have an Amazon echo show. The problem is when call Alexa both my Echo show and LG TV responds! Can you help me?

Not working on my c2 oled in 2024, when i say open youtube, alexa says Getting KZfaq from LGE and nothing happens, tried restting even the TV 10 times now

You can also say Alexa, turn off the TV too and it will do the same thing. Just say “Alexa, turn off the TV” then Alexa will respond with Ok. And then turn off your TV.

Does it have the capability for you to say "Alexa show me camera" and it shows you the camera on the TV? Also can you play music through Alexa without the TV on?

I have Prime on Amazon Japan but not Amazon US. Can I log into Alexa on the tv through my Japanese account? And is it worth it? Will I get more functionality by being a Prime member?

So what's the different between the LG native voice search and the Alexa and google assistant built in? So the tv have 3 voice assistant?

The lg search works as voice input, when setup correctly. Same as search by voice in your google environment Amazone Alexa works as a voice assistant, giving you hands - free functionality over your tv. The same applys for google assistant. The issue is that not all countries and regions are supportet and that has nothing to do with Lg. It is a limitation by Amazone version of Alexa that runs on the lg hardware. Hth.

Dont worry it literally works nowhere. Theyve killed their alexa skill one year ago and it never came back. Its a whole scam at this point

Dear customer, please try using the OK/scroll button and left/right button. But be aware, not all controls are supported via the Magic Remote. This depends on the supported brands in your region/country, via the Universal Control Settings on the TV. Absolutely impossible to get Alexa to play video content. "Alexa play..." "Alexa watch..." Nothing works, it just searches for stuff and you need to use the remote control buttons to play the things. Lol.....

I want to delete Alexa, because Alexa will come on just like that. So annoying....my wife and I will be having a normal convo & boom! Alexa comes on!! This happened after deleting the profile from the tv and Amazon. Had to do a hard reset on my TV recently and totally bypass Alexa on the initial set-ups, unfortunately the app is still there as a pre-installed app.

Dear G MaNN, the pre-installed Alexa app should not be active when it is not setup with an Amazon account. If your TV responds automatically to your voice, it could be that hands-free voice control is active on your TV. You can find this setting and switch it off in the following settings menu (hold the settings button on your remote to go to All Settings): General > AI Service > Voice Recognition Settings > Use Hands-free Voice Control For more help, please contact your local LG helpdesk via www.lg.com/common
