If your LG TV says the WiFi is turned off but it isn't, and you see the "Turn it on to see the list of available networks" error, then you either have a basic software issue or something more serious. This video will help you troubleshoot the problem and hopefully fix it.

Nothing worked up there. Final I found a comment and took off back panel with only few screws, clean up the Wi-Fi part and BOOM, it worked! 6.21.2024

Lg Tv are trash. The locations change worked for me thank you. We should collectively file a clash action lawsuit against this evil company because their smart tv is too buggy and they are not making any effort to fix this

@@MrLeviaFUN none of the recommended fixes worked. Tried resetting, changing locations, etc. We ended up buying a fire stick instead.

We had this issue after TV reset. Changing location worked for us. Now we need to figure out how to solve a bug with HDR turning on and off in our fire TV, which was reason for that reset. Your guidance has been a big help! Thanks a lot

Just changed providers and weirdly it initially worked with no problem, came down this morning and I had the issue you described. The location change worked perfectly. Many thanks. 👍

Thanks a lot!! I was almost gonna give up, but i finally checked the wifi module by opening the TV and it was loose...no idea how. i reconnected it and now everything ia back to normal :)

Thank you. I haven’t used my OLed BX 65 for two weeks and it just lost its WiFi connection… Restarted several times but the switch of WiFi couldn’t be turned on. Changing the location instantly solved the problem… Weird thing, but I still love the image quality

If you have a firestick that you no longer use. Use that and the wifi will connect to the firestick. That's what I did. No more connection problems. I tried all the tricks and none worked for me either. I wasn't willing g to take the back off of the TV a nd check the modular

I had an extended warranty and this happened about 2 months before the extended warranty was set to expire. They fixed it. Well 2 years later the issue is back again. Only way I could keep connection was to actually hook a cat5 cable from the modem to the tv. Speed also increased too compared to the wifi connection.

Mine got fixed by changing the location to manual then selecting another country, then manually selecting US. As soon as I changed it, all the updates started working. I also set a manual IP address to mitigate resolution delays. I figured the problem might be a comm resolution between the tv and the new isp router.

I try that way. Didn't work so took it apart didn't disconnect anything inside. Just loose WiFi wire a little bit, too have some breathing room. Wiggle it turn on TV then Boom connected.
