Does v40 have raw format recording? LG-Log file in cine video mode? or does it only adds color filter over video?

Upgrade to the camera software makes triple shot almost instantaneous. All the bugs worked out finally! Great phone.

Is there any cine log format for video? I saw in the LG V30+ have a cine log format. I hope in this v40 model has cine log/rawformat too for video

Great video! Has it got a camera mode that records videos from the front and back cameras at the same time? I have an old LG v20 and it has a mode called multi-view that does the same!

Why would my camera app not open all of a sudden. Black screen but still can access Google lens . can't access my gallery either in trying to see them :( hopefully you can help I like my LG40

I miss one feature that the LG V20 has in video mode, you can record (endless) 3 second videos and the phone would compose them into a movie.

The v series can take amazing shots... Their pixel sensors are hugely improved over the G7 and you have loads of options to chose from... The manual modes are how you can optimize what this phone can really do

Exactly! That was on the v30, I just picked up the V40 and I can't find that mode. If there's no way to download it, I'm returning the phone.

@@AlexThorn i did eventually get a V40 (from a V20) and unfortunately it doesn’t have the “dual rec” mode which i loved in V20!! I did find a couple of apps in playstore that do a good job, check out “double side camera” and “flipcam”. Hope that helps.

Nice vid...LG is awesome.. I just learned that you can use your screen knock-on code anytime even when the screen is completely off and it will unlock your phone I learned something new on the v40 everyday

I'm on the note 8. Would it be an upgrade or downgrade to get lgv40 or note 9. Looks like the lgv40 has lots of features and gimmicks. Just not sure it will still be running smooth for 24 months after purchase.

The note 9 is a fantastic phone, one of the best phones I've had all year. The v40 is great too. Either way you won't lose but make sure you get a great deal cause going into 2019, the value will drop fast

You didn't actually show the quality of front cameras, especially super wide angle. Instead, you wasting time playing with stickers. How smart way to avoid explaining 2 front cams!!

..... here is pro mode..... lets look at it for 4 seconds. Perhaps it will start explaing itself because you somehow dont?? this is not explanation, this is just showing it. you showed pro video mode like 4 seconds??? is that an explanation???........
