LG's V series were always more focused on these things, it would be a really big surprise if they removed the 3.5mm.

Great triple camera set up including Wide Angle Lens, Quality DAC, Headphone Jack, Great Speaker, SD Card support (it’s just so much easier and cheaper to get an SD Card for more storage rather than having to buy a new phone just to get additional storage), FM Radio, ip 68 water and dust resistance, Great Build Quality (MIL-STD-810G compliant) Bluetooth 5, Fingerprint Scanner, Wireless Charging... ticks so many boxes. Nice one.

I gave LG a chance with the G6, but the charging port failed after 16 months. Same thing happened to my friend's G6 that was bought later. Now I'm back to Samsung GS9, without the notch. Headphone jack with good set of earbuds/headphones FTW!

Where did you get the spec information? You state 503 ppi. LG specs states 6.4"* QHD+ OLED Display (3120 x 1440, including notch); 538 ppi

The only downsides are the small battery capacity and and low storage (even though you can increase that by micro sd card) otherwise this phone is perfect!

Only 3 cons that matter to me in this phone which are the battery,obviously, though it doesn't have bad batt life, but for a flagship it should have been exceptional, the unmappable extra button, which doesn't seem to be changed anytime soon, and the single speaker. Other potential ones aren't that big of a deal as it can be, well, handled to a certain extent, like the notch(can be hidden) and the UI, which can ve easily replaced and seems to be upgraded eventually to 9.0. Cameras are good and good enough for me

@ 3:04 the camera takes a few seconds and spins in 'processing' mode. I'm experiencing this in Motorola phones which drives me insane. What is this due to ??? I find it to be a huge flaw!!

@@spectacular_shree6766 Can confirm, 3300mAh is more than enough on the V30, the screen doesn't suck a lot of power, thanks to LG's own optimization.

Doing Battery Test in S.Korea For 4 hour it spend only 31% screen brightness 7, sound 7 1920×1080 video

Nice video, amazing phone but for some reason you think the G7 is the predecessor of the V40. "this time they went with an OLED display"... The predecessor (V30 mind you) also had OLED display. It's like comparing the Note 9 to the S8.

I have purchased an extra battery for the LG. Soon to buy a battery dock for LG V20. Never gonna run out. Just recharge and swap every day. No down time.

Still lov'n my LG G5. Once a year I put in a brand new battery for $10. Making it expensive to freshen up the battery makes no sense.

@@monoxx6924 It doesn't happen anymore till G5, they have resolved it long before. Nowadays LG makes more stable and lagless phone as compared to other brands, Being a v30+,G7 user I can confirm that too. The LG ui skin may seem heavy but it actually isn't and battery life is good even ater having 3300mah battery since it has OLED display. And processor Size is smaller and powerful, small=power efficient.

Still loving my V30+ a year on, no interest to change it. The quad DAC audio with UAPP bit perfect mode+24bit FLAC+high impedance headphones = Godlike.

you dont reduce quality when you dont have the headphone jack, because you can still use wired headsets through the usb type c port, you just reduce the easiness of just pluging in the headset without the usbc converter

What can @LGUS do to revive their image smartphone wise? 1. Refurbish your software. ur software isn't pleasing to the eye and that's what a lot of people interact with 2. Stop trying to play in the price range of apple and Samsung. Make $500 phones & let em be awesome Pronto

It doesn't matter how good a LG phone is. They will sell and forget maybe never releasing an update. Any issues with always remain. I have owned LG G2, G4 & V20. Rarely any updates. My current V20 hasn't received any updates or security patches from last one year and is still on 7.0. There is a reason why iPhone & pixels are sold at a premium because of support they provide for years after purchase. Even Chinese manufacturers are way better than LG. Buy LG home appliances but not a phone.

It's 2021 and I'm going to buy one. Yes, there is newer, but I am avoiding 5G phones since 5G plans are required on many of them. Had my run with IPhones and I'm done. Still living the headphone jack!
