I use LG V30 sorely as DAP. I download songs from Apple Music for my favourite play lists. Whenever I play music from LG V30 as DAP, I turn on its flight mood to have a much clearer sound without any interference. In addition to better sound, it save power too allowing you to enjoy much longer play time.

Just Wondering have you use any Fiio Earphone and what do you think of FH3 & FH5s please? Thanks

The FH3 is great. Not used the FH5.

Hi there fantastic informative videos. Can you still recommend buying the LG v60 from that eBay seller or would you sell yours? Thanks.

How does the Lg v60 compare to the Samsung Note 9 for sound quality?
@PerputuallyCensored2 ай бұрын
Cleaner, louder, bit more detail.

Thanks for replying. I asked because like you I no longer want to travel with my dap/amp combo and was very interested in your review of the Samsung Note 9. With your recent review of the Lg V60 I am now in a quandry about purchasing which mobile phone given its superior features. Finally I like your no nonsense perspective on this audio hobby. Keep up the great work!

The Note 9 still sounds good but it has very little power to drive IEMs, etc. Thanks @@cubancigars1

@@cubancigars1 the LG V60 has a dedicated amp to drive headphones up to 600 ohms, so if you have a pair of 600 ohms but don't have enough to cash out, definitely go for the LG

The hack is essential if you use low impedance but power hungry plannar headphone like my Hifiman HE400SE. Thats all. Low impedance mode is fine for my IEMs that don't require it. There's a myth that people believe that you must use high impedance for everything because it sounds better.
