Great review and all the features of this new LG device look awesome. Perhaps the idea of offering dual-screen smartphones at low cost has really bore fruits for LG and this is why the brand has brought such powerful devices for us. But as a customer, I would always appreciate such innovative moves by LG and I think LG should keep this effort up.

I absolutely love my LG Velvet. I've had nothing but LG phones. 12 to be exact. And the Velvet is very nice. When everyone is a Samsung or Apple... Be an LG!! 👍 LG absolutely does not get enough credit.

@@atomkriegreinigungs7737 well lg is no longer making phones... So that's not great. But on a positive note I did just receive the android 11 update. Lg said they would update the velvet all the way through Android 13 even though they are no longer in the cell phone market. The tmobile version uses a special chipset, so I didn't think I would receive anymore updates. Tmobile is running a special for free lg velvets. Personally, no other phone compares to me. I did drop it and crack the front and back glass though. And since lg left the market, I can't find anywhere to fix it for less than a kidney. So if you get it just be sure to immediately get a case and screen protector! I also have the oneplus n10 5g, and this phone is absolute crap in every regard compared to the velvet.

Please tell me the differences between the velvet and G8? Seeing cosmetic wise the velvets got those edges like a Galaxy S7 and the G8 doesn't. Not a fan of that curved edge feel. And are they using the same second screen attachment that the G8 has? Are they interchangeable?

Woz Crawford sadly the other LG dual screen phone was not released in Australia (it was the v60 if i remember correctly) do not hole your breath they will release the case in Australia

You can probably buy the dual screen case cheaper online than through Australian distributers anyway. Buy Bamboo stylus as well. LG Australia is selling the Velvet, but only in conservative silver or black.

The LG Velvet has such impressive name and design. OLED Screen and USB-C cable speaks excellent security. Its slim design is easy on hand for anyone regardless of gender and age. As time progressed smart phones at its solid-state design got stronger and each user have gotten more familiar to their phone.

I ordered mine from ATT Monday and it should be here today! Hoping to get the dual screen. ATT didnt mention anything about giving it to the buyers. It looks like the dual screen case is hard to find unfortunately.

Hey Austin Evans are U able to do a video on Call Of Duty Mobile tutorial on to see how that works out we love to see a gameplay On there with this new phone I'm using right now Android phone LG G7 Thin Q so I'd love to see what Call of Duty mobile looks like on and if it has a controller based compared to like taking a box One controller or a PS4 controller to hook up and play with any Android phone or does that have a built-in controller to play COD mobile

A question at the end of the introduction below; I have an LG v40. Works fine. I like the V60, but I think it is too big. If the v60 was between its current size and the size of the v40 I would have had it already. Well, the Velvet is only very slightly smaller than the v60, but still "smaller". And for that reason and interest me. So here's the question for those that may know. Would the Velvet actually be an improvement over the v40? I mainly use it to stream videos such as KZfaq or Netflix. And routine internet connections and searches and so forth and for taking videos and pictures. No gaming

really i find this device pretty unique for some reason and i would choose this instead of cheaper alternatives with similiar, if not better, specs. But i have a few questions: how frequent will the software updates be on this device? On the site i didn't find any info on the screen durability, is there a gorilla glass on it or some custom scratch resistant glass (and in that case how resistant is it)?

Im using lg g7 thinq. Didn't bought oneplus bcs its Chinese(kasam se isliye hi nhi lia tha. Price dono ka same tha. Still went for g7). Btw bought this phone in 2018. Still working super smooth but the updates are very rare. Only drawback of lg phones.
