21:45 it's detecting to see if it's a very heavy large and heavy load that it's prepared to spin or if the load is light enough to do an extra high spin if you've selected the extra high spin setting. Once it does this after the wash portion of the cycle, its locked in and wont do it after the rinse cycles. But if you press pause after its done its sensing, it will do it again on the rinse or spin cycles. How you can tell if it's detected a light load to spin is after the 6 weight checking tumbles, it slowly starts spinning the opposite direction. If it's sensed a heavy load, on the 7th tumble, it's gonna swing the opposite direction. That will limit it's top speed to a high spin speed - even if you've selected the extra high spin. I know because I own the kenmore version of this machine - just the last gen version of it and have studied it very well

My 3 month old wm4000 suds locked yesterday for the first time, I used 1 tide pod and powder bleach for colors, washing towels. SOOOOO many suds during the first spin it was unbelievable! That never happened before so I blame it on the powder bleach for colors I added.

I personally think they should put foam padding on the 4000, 4200, and 4500 so that it doesn't bang when throwing all the weight up. It would make it be quite and less wear and tear on the panels/outer tub.

@@Lubna-ev9gs Basically pieces of styrofoam/packing foam glued to the side panels of the machine so when the tub hits them it's quieter and it won't dent the metal side panel

Never had the cold water issue in my 4000. The towels cucle and all other cycles always fill up with hot when selected. I will say though that the warm wash is just cool water

The little nozzle on the top, was that the recirculation pump or was it spraying fresh fill water in the tub in the beginning

Very disappointing to see it filling with mostly cold water. I have had this issue on the WM3400, but I have also used a WashTower and it didn't. The WM3400 was about 24ºC on 'hot' but the WashTower was around 46ºC when picking the 'medium hot'.

The washtowers medium hot is actually a tap hot. For someone reason LG labeled the extra hot function on their washtowers as just hot im not sure why

What was the temperature at the end of the main wash? Did the heater boost the water temperature. 23 degrees Celsius is a cold wash.

if the balancing sensors werent so sensitive then US front washers could handle unbalanced spins like uk washers

I had the same exact problem with my LG front loader suds locking everytime i did a load of towels, and it was every single time i used tide or persil! What do you have the setting at for the EZdispense? Do you have it at the factory preset or did you increase it? The setting might be too high. It cracks me up how tide says to use three tide pods for a large load in front loaders, i used to use only one tide pod and it would suds like crazy. I can only imagine three! Yikes!
@Blurain727
@Blurain727 Жыл бұрын
It was at the medium setting, but I'm not complaining too much because it still was able to do the 3rd intermediate spin no problem once it was able to balance.
@jacobs956
@jacobs956 Жыл бұрын
I think he’s talking about the default dispense amount for every cycle. I don’t know if you know this, but you can change how much detergent is dispensed by default in ounces for every cycle. If you find that it’s putting in too much detergent, you can keep adjusting the level down until it’s at the perfect level. Lg has a video showing how to do it. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/g9WkqdOayq6ZmoE.html

Hey. Unfortunately my LG DLEX4000W failed today. Issue is its cycle nob is not responding. So now when I want to use it I have to go through the app. I wanna keep it so bad, its the best dryer ever. Should I spend $125 and fix it or should I replace it with a fresh 4000? I wanna keep the model the same since my parents don't wanna spend $3k for high tech that could have an issue. If I do replace it, I am going to most likely replace the washer too because I want a matching set. Opinions?
