1. Sven isnt even a good carry past the 60 min, at least not vs the Troll 2. To get any meaningful damage, he’d still have farm on top of selling his items, this mean 2 things - He’d have to put himself in danger - Someone have to let up resources for him, and if you look at their line up, everysingle heroes scale very well with farm and items, meaning there is little incentive to give up farm for the Sven 5 3. HW is basically the 4th cores that farm faster and much safer. If you watch the entire game, Nouns does not make any move by themselves even with ~20k nw lead at 45 min. All they do is wait and wait for the enemy to make a move, then they failed fight and blow that entire lead on 5 buy back only to drag the game more. Their overall approach to the game is bad, it’s not about the hero or items build.

Someone commented earlier already but to summarize, he's already locked in buying utility items as a support. To deviate to damage items now would fuck over their team especially since Sven as a carry needs a metric tonne of items to actually carry not as easy as supports like Weaver or even Hoodwink. To do that he would have to get kills and not die a lot and that's basically impossible to do. Weaver and HW can do that.
